Community Alley Trappers (CAT) presents its CATfeine fundraiser, from Poppa-Bean Coffee Roastery! A variety of blends, including decaf, will be available for $17 a pound (ground or whole bean). ☕️🐈‍⬛️

Are you looking for a great Mother's Day, Father's Day or birthday gift for a loved one? Or do you love coffee and want to encourage local businesses? You're in luck! CAT will be accepting your coffee orders from April 11 to April 25.

To order, simply complete the following form:https://forms.gle/RfNrVtco2hLwE9yt7 . Then, submit your etransfer to [email protected] and be sure to include the word "coffee" in your etransfer payment note.

Coffee orders will be ready for pickup the week of May 6 at the following locations: Carson Grove, Orleans, Nepean, Pineview, Riverside South, and Stittsville. Our volunteers will be in touch to confirm pickup times and dates for each location.

Thank you to our partner Poppa-Bean Coffee Roastery for their partnership again this year! The funds raised will help cover expenses of our various Community Alley Trappers programs.

April 11 is National Pet Day in Canada. The day is meant to raise awareness of animals in need of adoption or rescue. Take time to acknowledge and commend the dedication and compassion of our local rescues' volunteers.

Presenting the Annual Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue Christmas 2023 Online auction. MORE ITEMS COMING DAILY!

We are thrilled to offer this auction, as we have had some very generous donors providing us with many gifts to give or to keep! In fact, we had so many items we were unable to post them all. If you do not see your donation featured in this auction, do not worry. It will be used in some other fundraiser for our stray cats.

We have kept the auction process simple---no need to register or provide personal information. And we run this auction ourselves so no payouts to another Auction organization. 100% of your money goes to our strays cats. And no middleman to take the cut of our action.

For the process, you just bid on the original photo and if you win, we will contact you for pickup. Easy-peasy! And please, please, please, if you bid, please intend to pick up your item if you win. It is so DISCOURAGING for our volunteers and all the hard work they do in preparing these auctions.

All items have been generously donated by volunteers, supporters, or friends and family of the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue.

Here are a few Need-to-Know details:
1. The auction begins as soon as it is posted on Thursday, November 30th, 2023; and closes at 6 p.m on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023. Bids need to be placed by 5:59 p.m (EST).
2. Bids can be placed on any item by typing the amount of the bid in the “Comments” section of the photo.
3. To view the most recent bid, select “Most Recent” from the “Top Comments” tab on the right side of the “Comments” section.
4. To view ALL the items, click on the Album Title. All photos should come up at once. Saves from having to scroll through all the items to find you favourites.
5. Please bid in increments of at least $1.00, unless specified differently in the item description.
6. Following the close of the auction, the Administrator will identify the winning bidder in the “Comments” section for each item.
7. Ottawa pick-up dates, times, and locations will be confirmed with the winning bidder. Currently, pickups will be as soon as possible after the end of the auction and will be at:
a. Nepean, ON
b. Kanata, ON
c. Orleans, ON
d. Riverside South, Ottawa, ON
8. Payments can be made by E-Transfer to [email protected]. Please indicate your Auction Item # in the Notes section. We are also happy to accept cash at pick-up.
9. Now for the legal stuff: Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue and the individuals volunteering with Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue are not liable for any loss or injury sustained in conjunction with participation in this auction and/or the enjoyment of any product or service purchased through this auction.
