🎉 We’re Celebrating 1 Year! 🎉

Blazing Stars Grooming and In-Home Boarding Services has now been open for 1 year, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing clients and their furry friends. 🐾💛

🐶 We have two beautiful puppies (male and female) that are looking for a co-ownerships!!!

Six of our puppies have been reserved and will be on their way to wonderful forever homes in January 🫶🫶

Are you a perfect fit? 🤔 Here are 3 questions to ask yourself before answering yes!
1- Do you live within 2-hours from Blazing Stars (Limoges, Ontario)?
2- Are all your current canine pets spayed or neutered?
3- Can you be away from your pet for approximately 8 weeks while your dog whelps and raise her own puppies at Blazing Stars? (This applies only to the female, male will visit us for 3 days during breeding).

If you’ve answer is "yes" to these questions, then you may be a great candidate for the co-ownership program!​ 🤩

Some benefits includes boarding, discount on grooming and compensation on each breeding.

It’s been an absolutely crazy month, but this morning brought us something truly special— Maisie gave birth to her beautiful puppies! 🐾💖

This is extra special for us because it’s Maisie’s last litter, and we’ve been savoring every precious moment even more. She’s such a strong, wonderful mama, and we’re so proud of her! 🥰

It's with heavy hearts that we share the news of Bear’s passing 💔 He was a loved by all our family and he was a constant source of joy and comfort.

From the moment Bear came into our lives, he brought a unique light and sillyness that touched everyone who met him. He was our pride and joy, and as we like to say, he was our mascot.

We will miss everything about him. The way he used to sit in reverse, his howling when he was excited, his expression and eyes that always looked a little cluesless, his fear of flies, his love of passing through peoples legs, the amount of drool he loved to share, his love of racing down the ditch full of water, and the fact that he used to eat tree bark. He was always there to make sure he got his share of attention and food, but also give back as much love as he received.

We are deeply grateful for the time we had with him, and Bear's memory will forever be a part of our hearts. 🐻

Rest in peace, Bear aka Bear Bear, Mister Boogs, Boogie, Ti-gars, Buddy, bébé Bear.

You will always be loved and we will miss you tremendously. Rest in peace my sweet boy 💚

Today was Violet's 💜 very first dog show hosted by the Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Dog Association.

She did amazing!!! ⭐️

She won “Best Female Baby Puppy”, “Best Baby Puppy of Breed”, and “Best Baby Puppy” in the working group. 🏆

Violet is now resting and preparing for ger next show this Sunday!

Tomorrow ➡️ Dorothy 🧡 (aka Dory) will attend her first dog show! Wish us luck 😋

Wanting to add a dog sooner than later? The guardian program may be the answer! Not only do you skip the long wait list!... but you also get many benefits down the line!

The purpose of breeding is to continue the lineage and preserve this wonderful breed! In order to do this, top selected pups are held back from litters as future breeding prospects. Once these pups become young adults they will need to have health clearances done at 2 years of age. Once complete and to breeding standards, planning begins to match an appropriate stud to have some beautiful Berner babies! Guardian family females will have 3 litters and then spayed and retired to their families.

If this is something that interests you please ask yourself:
- Do you live no more than 2 hours from Blazing Stars?
- Are all your canine pets on the property spayed or neutered?
- Do you own your own home and have a fully fenced back yard?
- Could you be away from your pet for 8 weeks to whelp out and raise her puppies at Blazing Stars?

If your answer is "yes" to these questions, then you may be a great candidate for the guardian home program.!​ Please inquire and hear more details of the perks to guardian home ownership!

And they're already 2 weeks old!! 😭🥺

So far all 11 puppies
✅ opened their eyes 👀
✅ have been dewormed (mama Maisie too)
✅ started developing their sense of sound 👂
✅ crawl and wiggle to get places
✅ have finished their early neurological socialization and scent introduction (more to come on this later this week 🤩)

🚨We are still looking for forever homes for 3 girls! ❤
