Dogs communicate love through physical closeness, bringing toys (a sign of trust), following their humans (pack bonding), and face licks (a natural show of affection).

Cats demonstrate love through slow blinks (called "kitty kisses"), purring (which releases bonding hormones), head bunting (marking you as family), and seeking physical contact on their terms.
