With all your generosity we were able to reach over 350lbs of donations for our donation drive!! We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated and with everyone’s help we were able to go above and beyond our goal of 250lbs. Everything we received has been able to go to Sit with Me Dog Rescue, Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue and Community Veterinary Outreach! 💚💚

Tip #9! Protect both yourself and your pets by using reflective leaches, lights on collars/harnesses and reflective vets for yourself on early morning and night time walks!🦺

Tip #8! Sidewalk salt can cause paw irritation. The sharp granules of salt can cut and irritate a dog’s paw pads, leading to pain, dryness, and chemical burns. You can also try these tips to keep your dog safe on salted sidewalks:
- Give them a warm water foot bath after a walk
- If your dog has long hair, wash it and their belly area to remove any ice particles.
- Consider buying your dog outdoor protective boots or paw protectors.🧂❄️🧊
