The City has received a zoning amendment application and a site plan control application for 47 Beechwood Avenue (including 12 Douglas Avenue and 5 Springfield Road) located on the north side of Beechwood between Douglas Avenue and Springfield Road in the Lindenlea community. The applicant is proposing to develop an eight-storey, mixed-use building with four commercial at-grade units, 123 residential units, 48 underground parking spaces, 128 bicycle parking spaces and 880 square metres of amenity space (which refers to community rooms, dog wash rooms, a communal terrace and private balconies at the property). La Ville a reçu une demande de modification de zonage et une demande de contrôle du plan d'implantation pour le 47, avenue Beechwood (incluant le 12, avenue Douglas et le 5, chemin Springfield), situé du côté nord de Beechwood, entre l'avenue Douglas et le chemin Springfield, dans la communauté de Lindenlea. Le demandeur propose de développer un bâtiment de huit étages à usage mixte comprenant quatre unités commerciales au niveau du sol, 123 unités résidentielles, 48 ​​places de stationnement souterrain, 128 places de stationnement pour vélos et 880 mètres carrés d'espace d'agrément (qui fait référence aux salles communautaires, salles de lavage pour chiens, une terrasse commune et des balcons privés à la propriété). We have some wonderful fitness classes starting this week! Including online and in person options. We have yoga, strength classes, stretch classes, cardio, pilates, tae kwon do and classes for seniors. On January 5, 2024, Hydro Ottawa will be supporting Crowe Tree Service with the removal of a tree. A power outage is scheduled as a result of this work and will impact residents on Middleton Drive, Rockcliffe Way and Springfield Road.

Residents will notice construction equipment and vehicles on site to remove the tree in this area. If needed, traffic control and lane reductions will be implemented to ensure that roads and sidewalks remain safe for residents and staff.

Le 5 janvier 2024, Hydro Ottawa soutiendra Crowe Tree Service en enlevant un arbre. Une panne de courant est prévue à la suite de ces travaux et affectera les résidents de Middleton Drive, Rockcliffe Way et Springfield Road.
