DragonRam Doodles is a home-based breeder of quality multigenerational miniature and medium Australian Labradoodles located in Ottawa, Ontario. We raise our puppies in our homes where they are part of our households from the moment they are born. We have several breeding females as part of our families, while the rest of our Mamas and Daddys live in Guardian Homes not too far away. We host occasi

onal Doodle Romps where we invite our puppy families, along with prospective buyers and any other interested Doodle owner, to join us in the nearby fields and forest (or parking lots, in winter time!)

The puppies are 5 weeks old and are finally showing off their two very different personalities. Marlin is the talkative one, very outgoing and so much energy. Where Kokanee is more laid back and can be a little nervous in new situations but loves people and snuggles.

We have new puppies!!
We are pleased to announce that last Wednesday February 12, Peggy gave birth to 2 beautiful babies. Sire by Jordan, these puppies are Peggy's first litter and she came through like a trooper, birthing 2 quietly and efficiently.

Peggy naming theme is fish so we have:
Kokanee male, chocolate party almost all white, born at 17:30, weighing in at 250
Marlin male, chocolate party big spots, born at 19:00, weighing in at 209

These pups are expected to mature to between 15 and 25 lbs, They will be ready to go to their new home at the beginning of April.

Monsoon & Zephyr are 3 months old today! They are still with us, learning to be good big puppies and having lots of fun experiencing the snow!! Monsoon is a lovely, s***ky & energetic girl, very affectionate with people. She lets her brother, Zephyr, know who's boss - but grandma Phoenix lets Monsoon know SHE is the top dog. Zephyr is a curious, inquisitive, adventurous boy who loves learning new things. Mama Rain Shadow, shown in some of these pictures, likes playing with them and showing them the world outside the puppy corner.

We are happy to report that Twilight, now called Roku has found a home with a lovely family! He went home on Sunday and things are going great.

Monsoon and Zephyr, now 2.5 months old, are still waiting for their forever families. They miss their favourite big boy Twilight, but are enjoying more time out of th3eir private corner by the kitchen and playing with mama Shadow. On another note, we just learned this morning that Facebook is doing a sweep of all pages / sites that mention d**gs and anim**s, and either removing pages or shutting down whole sites, with a view to stoppng p***y mills, but some legitimate breeders are also being affected. Apparently 2 posts from our site were removed, but otherwise our site has passed the test, so we hope this remains the case. Otherwise we may have to resurrect our blog. Highlight on Zephyr!

Hi! I'm Zephyr! I'm still looking for my forever family. I'm 11 weeks old and I'm stunning to look at, if I do say so myself - a unique chocolate phantom sable colour 9see my photos!!). I love to explore the world around me and investigate all the cool things I find. There's so much out there to see and sniff and learn about!! I'm really looking forward to going on long walks with my humans, playing fetch. playing with other dogs and just curling up with my people for a nice nap after a day of adventures!

Featuring: Monsoon

We are happy to note that Nimbus and Aella have both found homes. But now Monsoon and her brother Zephyr are looking for their own forever families.

Monsoon is very affectionate and gentle, with lots of energy. She is a cautious explorer who loves to be with her people and is very responsive to the human voice. She follows naturally and responds to play, such as tug-of-war, chasing a ball or another object, and tussling with her siblings or other dogs. She carries around her stuffies and collects them in her "den" to play with.

Monsoon will do well with most any type of family, as long as she has people to love, toys and people to play with, and enough time for play and exploration.

Rain Shadow's puppies are growing like crazy and getting to be tons of fun!! Aella is still the smallest but with lots of s***k. Monsson is the most inquisitive and out-there. Nimbus is happy-go-lucky and playful, while Zephyr is the quietest and most chill.

The puups are 7 weeks old today!! Tomorrow they go to see the vet for their first vaccinations and checkup, and next Tuesday will be their temperament assessment. They wil be reay to go home in 1-2 weeks!! They are so much fun to play with and watch as they rough-hours, tumble around, and investigate the world. We recently took them outside for the first time onto the grass and let them experience these new sensations and see the big wide world - always a fascinating thing.

Rain Shadow's puppies are almost 4 weeks old now and getting more an more mobile every day. They are walking well in the whelping box, where they have rug and blanket underfoot, though still finding it a bit harder to keep their footing when we let them out onto the more slippery tile floor. But that won't last long - before we know it they'll be running around and playing hard!!

Some personality differences are beginning to emerge. Aella, the littlest girl, is the calm, quiet one - at least so far. Her sister Monsoon is more feisty and independent-minded. Nimbus, the bigger boy, is active, inquisitive, and friendly - not to mention gorgeous - and Zephyr, the other male, is somewhere between Monsoon and Nimbus in terms of activity, energy, and vocalization levels. Zephyr also has very unique colouring, with a cloat turning to pale cafe shot with streaks of silver throughout plus paler tan where the phantom points normally show up.

The puppies are now 3 weeks old and growing like weeds!! Their eyes & ears are open so they are now experiencing the world in new and exciting ways. They are starting to walk very well and will soon be running and climbing out of their whelping box. Within a week they will bed starting to get their baby teeth and we will start feeding them some puppy mush so mama doesn't have to work so hard to feed them.

The 2 females, are still the smaller pups although one has taken a bit of a leap ahead and is getting closer to the brothers, both of wheom are very close insize at 1.2kg right now.

We will be making arrangements for puppy visits on the week of 26-27 October for people who have shown an interest and submitted applicatioin forms. If you are interested in one of these gorgeous pups, send an email to [email protected] for more information.

Meet Umber, a gorgeous chocolate girl with a curly fleece coat and a tiny white spot on her chest. Umber is 2 1/2 months old and still looking for a family who wants to take her home. A little bit shy, Umber does love her people and is happy to snuggle and enjoy quiet times with them. Sage is a lovely chocolate puppy who should mature to 20-25 lbs. She has a moderate-high energy level. She is courageous, resilient, and smart, but also independent and curious. Sage loves to explore and play and will spend time sniffing out anything she finds interesting. She responds to food and affection.

Umber is beautiful chcolate pup with a tiny white spot on her chest who is expected to mature to 20-25 lbs. Umber is very high-energy with a bushel of courage and and is highly forgiving. Silver is a stunning black phantom female who should mature to about 20-25 lbs. She has a moderate energy level and is very resilient. Silver is confident smart and doesn't stress easily. Silver is s***ky and rambunctious; she loves people and is motivated as much by affection and play as by food.

Twilight is the one boy in this litter who has had to cope with 5 sisters!! He is gorgeous black phantom boy who we anticipate could mature to about 35 lbs or so, possibly a bit more. Twilight is a careful but courageous puppy who will bond very strongly to his humans. He could benefit from having another dog in the family to help him continue to learn good canine behaviour and provide a friend other than his humans. Twilight has a moderate energy level and is very focused on his environment and the scents around him. He responds to affection and praise and will aim to please. We are considering keeping Twilight as a potential stud, so may be looking to place Twilight in a Guardian home that would work with us over the coming years as we use him for breeding.
