Concerned about the implications of breeding this season with the new tariffs? Not to worry, it is still a simple breeding option. Here is the low-down!

💲 Shipment invoices are only the collection fee which keeps them well them under the current $800 USD exemption, meaning no duties/tariffs.

❓Even if the exemption were lowered or eliminated, the worst-case scenario would be a small tariff that would come to less than $100CAD.

🇨🇦 The Canadian to US dollar exchange is still very much in the favour of our US friends making breeding to Canadian stallions a great value.

Nieuwmoed's Mr Valentine got his first taste of snow fun last week too! Challenge accepted - he was a superstar! His big powerful canter is hard to contain in the deep snow but he gave it an A+ for effort. 💪 He truly seemed to enjoy the whole experience and if mother nature cooperates I'm sure he'd be game to do it again 😎

Coming soon!! Our former breeding stallion Topper Harley has been a happy gelding for a few years now and is nearly ready to start looking for his new home! He is coming 9 this year and stands 15hh, petite build. He has shown to FEI 5yo in dressage (scores up to 78%) and most recently up to 2'9" in the hunters with AA/Jr friends of ours. He enjoys both flat and jumping, would potentially be a fun eventer too! Easy to have around, turns out with geldings (have not yet tried mares but has shared a fence line) and is fun to ride. Ready to show training level tomorrow, waiting for his new partner to polish up his old skills to continue moving up the levels. Is he the one you've been looking for?

Well, we wanted snow and boy did we get it!! Maybe a bit more than I requested but beggers can't be choosers 😆 Milky Way was the first to test out the white fluffy stuff 🥰 He is a great sport especially since it was over his knees but he had a lot of fun and got a great workout 💪

I came across this photo the other day - it's hard to believe that Milky Way has been with us for going on 9 years now! He is just as sweet and snuggly now as he was the day I met him 🥰

I am thankful we started out with such a fantastic stallion, not only his own character but the kids he produces. It really cemented my love for these ponies 🦄

The last day for early booking is upon us!! The early booking discounts for the 2025 season end today - as we enter the last month of real winter and look forward to spring 🌷

I must say though I do miss when winters had snow!! The forecast finally looks promising but so far we have had very little, I think all my friends in the USA have had the pleasure of our white fluffy stuff!! ❄️

Winter fun with poles!! Since we don't have enough snow to ride outside yet we have to find other ways to keep life interesting and poles are a great way to add variety while working on strength and coordination 🦄🚀

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the barn... 🦄🎄

Very pleased with how Nieuwmoed's Mr Valentine is developing with Lord Kehres Dressage's Emmanuelle Lord 💓 His first foals are due starting in April 2025 - so excited!! 🥳

Milky's feeling the arrival of winter ❄️🦄

We had the pleasure of our fall clinic with Team Irwin Dressage a few weeks ago!! As always it's great to get a tune up before winter and solidify the goals for spring. 💪 Nieuwmoed's Mr Valentine got in on the roster for a lesson, it's easy to forget he's only 4! Emmanuelle Lord is developing him so nicely and he is gaining strength to really show those big gaits 😍

Feels good to get nekkid 😂 Milky is enjoying the clip and massage in one! Winter is coming, blanket season is here and baths will be few and far between. 🥳

This sweet and handsome Golden State colt is still looking for his future dance partner 🥰 He is likely to finish oversized like his States Premium dam (Escamillo/FS Don't Worry). He is well priced to a competition home and he is welcome to stay with us to grow up in a little group of same aged youngsters 🌻

Wowza!! Check out this Milky Way colt out of a mare by Freestyle/Krack C 🤩 Congratulations to his breeder Rhodes Farm - I believe he's available! 😎

Val and the plastic bag

It doesn't appear that the flapping plastic bag trick will be effective in getting Valentine to show off 😅😎

It was the first clinic for Emmanuelle Lord and Mr Valentine! With less than half a dozen rides outside he was a superstar, not bothered by the people watching by the ring, horses coming and going, dog barking etc! 😎 He is just learning how to balance that big canter but with time and strength I can't wait to see how he develops 😍

It was a beautiful day for a swim yesterday!! Who knew it could be summer in April!! 😎 Stibby and Ella enjoyed cooling off in the pond after a good ride 💪
