We are a full service small animal hospital who provide a full range of services from health examinations, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy, acupuncture, referral services, Penn Hip (hip dysplasia screening), among many other services. The deadline for ordering food and medication is this Thursday, December 19th. After this, items are expected to be delayed due to supplier and delivery carrier Holiday closures.

We’re kicking off the Holiday Season with a pet food drive to support Ottawa Paw Pantry!

Ottawa Paw Pantry is a registered charity and pet food bank that helps provide support for pets in times of need by providing temporary food assistance to qualifying local pet owners.

Please help us support this organization with donations of unopened wet and dry dog & cat food, as well as dog treats. Please make sure items are not expired!

Donations can be dropped off to us at the reception desk. For every donation made you will get an extra ballot entry for our Holiday Basket Raffle.

This post is in memory of the pets we have lost along the way - both as vet med professionals, and as fellow pet owners. A lot of days working in veterinary medicine are amazing. We have so many wonderful patients (and clients!) that make us smile day after day. We get to see incredibly well-loved puppies and kittens grow and develop. We get to experience the special bond that only fellow pet owners understand. We get to help, heal and soothe. But some days are darker. Some days are heartbreaking. We see the grief and the pain. We empathize with our clients in their losses, because they’re our losses too. We are reminded of our own pets who have gone. We carry those hard days with us, and sometimes they weigh us down. But when it’s difficult, it’s important to remember that it’s all for a purpose - to help as many patients as possible. And we are so grateful that we get to do that each and everyday. We would like to send a very big thank you to all of our clients, patients and fellow pet owners for their continued trust in our care. You’re why we do what we do. We would also like to thank our fellow vet med professionals for all that they do.
