October is Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Last week Hearty Tails had our first day with 3 employees working together since Covid and probably longer than that.
Throughout the summer Hearty Tails participated in various outdoor markets across the city. We moved allot of product and we certainly created allot of awareness. In our sleep, we can all recite “We are a non-profit social enterprise that provides employment opportunities for people with diverse abilities!”

This relationship isn’t exactly set in stone, but it is on our labels! And we’ve got plenty of those. Rebecca was thrilled to see Obi and his handler Lorraine.
