LIFE UPDATE

I broke my hand on Monday, and can’t groom for about three weeks. It’s really bad news as I know we are booking so far out at the moment.

As the owner of the salon, I debated actually posting anything because “who cares” but it’s always been important to me to be transparent with all of our clients.

Some of my lovely clients have been messaging me to warn me that there are posts going around social media of someone bashing the business. There was an incident including one of our dogs and this persons dog across from our house on Monday. It was an unfortunate event that is the reason why my hand is currently broken. I won’t get into the details here but if you would like to know I am always open to sharing just ask. The important thing is that this incident had nothing to do with the salon and this person is going out of their way to slander the business, spread lies, and is going as far to try to get us kicked out of our house and get our dogs PUT DOWN. So the last few days have been extremely stressful for Amy and I as we try to navigate all of this.

Please be patient with us as we try to reschedule my clients and deal with this situation properly. And I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to my loyal clients who have expressed concern or sympathy it really means a lot right now. 🐾❤️🙏

Kayla’s dog grooming is looking to hire a new front desk receptionist to join our team! If you love adorable dogs, good with customer service and have organizational skills this could be position for you!

We are looking for someone who:

* Respond to emails and keep our inbox organized
* Manage our booking system
* Help customers with bookings, inquiries and doggie drop off/pick ups.
* Complete Cleaning Tasks
* Has a positive attitude and can work in fast paced environment!

Hours: 20-30 hours a week
