💡 Monday Mental Enrichment Idea - Outdoor Dog Parkour! 🐕🌳

Tired of the same old walk? Let’s level it up!
Today’s challenge: turn your daily stroll into a parkour playground for your pup. It’s fun, it’s enriching, and it boosts confidence like crazy!

On your walk, look for natural or built-in obstacles your dog can safely explore:
🐾 Boulders to climb
🐾 Bleachers to weave through
🐾 Fallen logs to balance on
🐾 Stairs to conquer
🐾 Ledges to hop up or down

🛠 Want to take it further? Build your own backyard agility zone with stuff you might already have in the garage!

DIY Ideas:
◾️ Tire Jumps – Stack old tires or sink them halfway into the ground
◾️ Hula Hoop Hops – Secure a hoop for jump-throughs
◾️ Tire Path – Line them up for precision stepping
◾️ Pause Table – A simple plywood platform for sit/down/stay work
◾️ Balance Bridge – Ramps + plank = canine focus challenge

✨ The goal? Confidence, creativity, and connection.
Plus, it’s a great way to burn off energy (for both of you).

It was Cece’s first time socializing with a dog. She lives with two Bengal cats who she absolutely loves to play with. Shes a timid girl and Felix was a great pooch for her first intro. She didn’t like it at first when he chased her, but after a bit she was like “game on!” This was at the end of the session ♥️ They were doing the Lady & The Tramp but instead of spaghetti it was a stick 🤣🥰🐾

Through Private In-Home training sessions, we will work on things like impulse control - so he doesn't terrorize the chickens by chasing them, and general obedience and manners.
