It’s Dog Bite Prevention Week and we’re here to spread the word!
Each year, millions are affected by dog bites, but many can be prevented with the right education and actions. Here's what you can do to ensure everyone's safety:

🐾Always ask the owner for permission before approaching or touching a dog.
🐾Respect a dog's space while they're eating, sleeping or playing with their toys.
🐾Keep your distance from dogs that are barking, growling, or showing signs of aggression.
🐾Remember to ask the dog for permission too! Offer your hand slowly for them to sniff and wait to see if they seem comfortable.
Safety is everyone's best friend!

If you are looking for part-time work and absolutely love Dogs and Cats, we are currently hiring Dog walkers and Cat sitters to serve Kanata and Stittsville.

We are seeking dependable and compassionate individuals looking for a rewarding position on our team. Our aim is to have a supportive, caring, team environment that focuses on quality care for pets and their families.

We are hiring for two part-time positions:
-10 to 25 hrs per week Monday to Friday, must be available between 9 am and 2 pm
-2 to 10 hrs per week Saturday and Sunday must be available between 9 am and 2 pm

A typical walk includes 1 to 2 dogs, from time to time this may include up to 4 dogs


During visits, you’ll provide feeding, enrichment activities, walking and cat litter maintenance.
