Fun show
Clips from our In House Civic Holiday Monday Lead Line & Dressage Fun Show!! Thanks to all the supportive family members that came out to cheer on our rider, and to our awesome team of judges, assistants, barn staff, and incredibly helpful volunteers who all make it happen.
Obstacles
Part 1 of our 3 Part - Obstacle Training - Building Confidence with your Horse was a great success.
Participants learned how to put together a basic ground work pattern that they can use anytime and anywhere to help their horse to focus and find relaxation. How ground work translates to in the saddle, and what they can do when there are scary or unfamiliar objects. How to reward your horse though rest and relaxation and how their body language can impact their horse.
Then they dove into using the obstacles. How to work around them, then eventually how to ride though the obstacles, halting and standing quietly inside of a hoolahoop, getting horses over tarps , and then finishing though the scary curtain!
No horse wanted to go over the wide variety of colourful tarps, or though the curtain but by the end every horse achieved great success quietly and confidently working over everything, and learning to trust their rider to push through the curtains.
A really fun evening with a wonderful group of horse people! Excited to dive in even further next Friday as we watch these horse/rider teams progress and build on their communication, trust, and confidence.
Hero and Remi are always having a good time!🐎
Pam and Anna
Little Anna has always been a true horse lover at heart!! Her love and passion for the horses is a sentiment many of our riders can relate to at the farm.
Watching Anna flourish and grow from doing pony rides and lead line, though to riding lesson, camps, our various programs, and participating in fun shows. It’s been such a wonderful journey to share with her and her mother Pam and their wonderful family.
We are a second home for so many wonderful people. Knowing we are having a positive impact on others is why we do what we do.
It’s special people like this who are the inspiration for all that we do and offer our riders at Royale Equestrian Centre!!
Meet Coach Sarah her mom Corrine, and their lovely horse Tango!
Sarah and Corrine have been with us since the beginning. Special people like these two are what make our farm such an incredible place for all.
Their support, kindness, and all that they do and give back to the farm. This is what it's all about. Growing, learning, supporting and cheering one another on, and making life long friends/extended family in the process. <3
Ctv pets solar
Curious how Mondays Solar Eclipse is going to affect the animals. Check out this video with cameo appearances by some of your favourite Royale Equestrian Centre’s horses!!
Hossam riding our homebred Troy during a gymnastic session today! Troy is getting stronger by the week. Such a lovely horse, it’s so rewarding to raise them and see them grow through each stage in life. It’s a team effort to breed and raise a horse. Not for the faint of heart, but there is nothing else like it!

Ewa working on Troy’s footwork! He’s been developing so nicely thanks to the great start Khristine gave him and all the efforts Hossam has been putting in over the last year. He’s such a smart, kind, willing, solid horse, that always tries his best. #homebred #warmblood #handsomebaygelding
