What's really in your pet's food?

A 2018 study by Cornell University analyzed 18 popular dog and cat kibbles and found glyphosate, a common herbicide, in every single sample tested.

The levels ranged from 80 to 2,000 micrograms per kilogram and were linked to plant-based ingredients like grains and legumes.

While the glyphosate levels detected were below safety limits set for humans, it's a reminder to take a closer look at what goes into our pets' bowls.

Being mindful of ingredient sourcing and choosing minimally processed foods can make a difference for their health and well-being.
