It has been my lifelong goal to help people understand horses and teach them to communicate with theirs horse in a language they understand. The key to solving any problem a horse has or starting any c**t is by developing his trust in you. This begins with teaching Ground Manners which is achieved by desensitizing and teaching it to accept feel and movement. Once the horse learns to trust and r
ealizes this doesn’t hurt and doesn’t have to be afraid, then the problem solving begins and the c**t starting continues. For the person who wants to communicate with their horse the natural way by starting on the ground and then applying the same techniques from the saddle, also c**t starting the gentle way that mother nature intended it to be
They are learning essentials they will need for the rest of their lives. Its your job to be that "Leader"

This little gem got her official AQHA papers today! She a granddaughter of Gunnatrashya and great granddaughter of Wimpys Little Step and A New Cut in Town...We were sure she was black, surprise!, she is blue roan and also carries SW1, and 7 panel clean. We never dreamt in a million years to get a blue roan splash. Just a bit more paperwork to have her dual registered, AQHA & APHA

As if I don't have enough dogs carrying sticks around, now this guy, I guess he spends too much time with the dogs! monkey see monkey do. He is quite a character, calm, easy going ,curious, and so friendly! He is looking more and more like he will most likely be our next new grullo stud!

✅Official UC Davis Testing is Back:
Equine Juvenile Spinocerebellar Ataxia (EJSCA) is a genetic condition that can affect AQHA horses, but having just one copy of the gene does not cause the horse to show symptoms of the disease. This means that a horse carrying a single copy of the EJSCA gene can live a normal, healthy life.
However, it is important to avoid breeding this horse to another carrier, as there is a risk of producing a foal with two copies of the gene. A foal with two copies of the EJSCA gene will be affected. Responsible breeding practices, including genetic testing, help prevent the propagation of this condition and ensure the health and well-being of future generations.
This is relatively new testing UC Davis released in April. We were notified of a homozygous foal that had to be euthanized by Taggline and wanted to be transparent in our communication while educating the public on the latest available testing.
This is an avoidable condition like GBED and HERDA with the knowledge & now development of testing. As stated above carriers are non symptomatic. Another tool in our breeding toolbox when making decisions for an improved future generation.
The comments on our recent decision to be transparent on his carrier status have been extremely supportive. Understand that when we learned of the lost Emoji foal we wanted to do our own due diligence with testing ourselves and learning more in order to communicate with all of his fans and breeders ultimately to help prevent any future heartache where possible. This is a brand new disease and his pedigree is proven and always trending. Therefore it was information we wanted to share as professionally as possible.
If you have a mare in foal to Taggline who tests positive as a carrier please keep us in the loop once she foals so we can support you in the event you have an homozygous affected foal.

Our beautiful little grulla girl, Stingray and Leigh are off to Rock Springs, Wyoming for the National High School Rodeo Finals. She is a member of Team Manitoba. We are so proud of you and your achievements with this little cow horse that loves to run..Leigh did all her own barrel training on this mare. What an amazing journey you two are having, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

16hrs later...its a Filly, appears to be bay dun with the possibility of roan, star, 2 matched white hind socks and with literally the longest legs, it will take a few days before they totally unfold! and of course the dogs doing their job desensitizing her!

So our last foal of the season arrived about 9pm last night...we sure had a great group of mares this year...pretty much all.of them foaled right in front of us! Along with the guard dog to ward off predators! Nice to know they are very comfortable to do that! also...a pic of the hooves, zoom in closer to see what we call wings..they will fall off after the foal gets up and starts walking..they are the protection so the babies don't tear up the inside of the mare...Mother Nature takes care of everything

Update on Stewie,
He is starting to show some serious muscle! We are happy to say that we have repeated this same breeding for 2025! Last pics are of the mare and stud.
Foal will be either grullo roan or blue roan. We have a watch list started for next year..message us to get your name on the list for 2025

we have had a busy week again! this little boy arrived Wednesday night, this is her first foal and we got to see and video him being born! When they foal it is quick! She is such a good first time mom. He is a red dun possibly a dunolino! 93% foundation..SOLD

'Dapper in Blue'....this handsome boy gave us some pretty nice babies for his first year standing(other than when he decided to help himself to a date night the year before). We ended up with some pretty nice colorful roans.

Spooner has lost his little pasture friend for a few days while her mom is off being re-bred for 2025...so he made friends with my good old golden boy! Gotta love the good old geldings, so good with the babies! Spooner is the annoying little friend that never leaves you alone!!
