UPDATE: YOU CAN NO LONGER ACCESS OUR FRONT YARD AT ALL, SO WE ARE ASKING THAT YOU PARK AT THE GAS STATION AT THE CORNER AND WE WILL MEET YOU THERE AND WE'LL WALK THROUGH THE PATH TO OUR BACKYARD....SO SORRY FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE..WE ARE TOLD THIS WILL BE AREA OF THE CONSTRUCTION WILL BE FINISHED BY MONDAY.....

Soooo...the construction crew hit a gas line and we had a very bad gas leak today and most of our block had to evacuate. Gas is shut off now and hopefully we will have hot water tomorrow. It is advisable to come in through the top of Alpha St. to get to our driveway. If you come in from 11th St. they will make you wait and they will es**rt you to the driveway. Just a little less hassle. Oh , I can't wait until this is over.......

Good Monday morning. Just a note to advise we will be closed Aug 5-12 for a much needed holiday and rest. We will be back to grooming Tues Aug 13th. Some lovely pups to give you a smile ☺️🐶

Well it looks like the construction is here finally. They have started to scoop up our driveway so parking is an issue. You can park on 11th St. behind the pylons for tomorrow, but I am hoping they will have the issue with our driveway sorted out and finished by the end of the week....

They're getting closer.....construction continues on Alpha St. and they are almost up to our house on 11th St. You can still access our driveway from the top of Alpha St. for the time being but may be difficult soon. Parking might have to be on 11th St. behind the blue tubes and I can meet you with your pup for your appointment.

Update: with the ongoing construction, vehicles no longer have access to 11th St. as it is closed with heavy equipment and supplies for the project. The only access to get to the salon is to go up 10th St. and take a right at the lights and you can pull into our driveway....Meet wee Otis..

Well we are heading into the warmer months and along with that goes hand in hand, construction on the roads. This post is to give notice that Alpha St. will be closed Mon. May 6th for road construction. After that the construction will continue throughout the summer into the winter months to widen the road and provide a bike path. It will be a big pain , especially for parking. During this period, I would advise that when you come for your grooming appointment, you travel up 10th St. and take a right on 7th Ave by Tim Hortons. Take a left onto 11th St. and park as close to our house as you can. I do have cameras but they will not reach past our house. They will at some point disrupt the water but we have been told we will be notified and an alternative water supply will be in place. If there is a disruption of water service and we cannot provide grooming services , then we will notify and reschedule the appointments. I apologize for this inconvenience in advance but we will do the best we can to make it go smoothly....some cuteness follows....

Well I hope everyone had a Happy Easter weekend and enjoyed family get togethers. I havn't made a post in quite some time so I had some time off today and add some pics of our Easter puppies.

With the spring weather coming , so does the never ending road construction around Owen Sound. We will be having more construction on Alpha St. from 6th Ave to 9 Ave. again. It is to begin the beginning of April and continue until Nov. My understanding is to widen the sidewalk to include a bike path, but I am not really sure this is what is to be. All I know it will be very inconvenient for the summer months and I advise to avoid Alpha St. when coming for your appointment. I would try to come in off 10th St. hill and turn right on 7th Ave by Tim Hortons and then your first left onto 11th St. That way you can avoid the construction. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but can not do anything about it and hands are tied. Enjoy the nice weather and the puppy pics......

Well here we are in the middle of Mar. and March break for the kiddos. Although we still have some snow on the ground, I can smell spring is just around the corner. Pups are getting muddy and shedding. We are booking up very fast and are into the month of April for grooms, so time to consider booking your appointment. We have had to make the decision to not accept anymore large dog clients and to only accept a few more new clients upon a referral from an current client. If you are a newcomer to the area and you message me, I do have a couple of very good groomers that I can refer you to if you need the appointment sooner than later...just a few St. Paddy Day pups to view...next were heading for Easter celebrations....

So this is Feb. 5th and heading into the month of Love ❤️I want to thank my clients that were able to reschedule their pups grooms while I struggled with the horrible respiratory virus through the holidays and the month of January. I am feeling much better and back to grooming the pups. Some of our Valentine puppies......

Merry Christmas everyone. Just taking a few moments to let you know that we are closed now for the Christmas break and will return on Jan 4th full time. We have had a very busy season and lots of fun with the photos of your pups. We want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year full of happiness and health. Thank you for entrusting us with your furry family members this past year and look forward to seeing you in the New Year. Good morning. Just taking some time to gear things up for the holiday rush. We are all booked up until Christmas. Dec 22 being our last day in the shop. We resume grooming on Jan 4/2024. We are again providing Christmas photos with your groom in Dec. Below are some photos I have been playing with the new app.

Also into the new year we are not able to provide weekend and after hour services, due to the new emergency policies initiated by Grey/Bruce Veterinarians. Insurances will deem it a higher risk and may not cover in the event of an emergency. This is not a risk I am willing to take for myself and my staff. Hopefully , things will change in the coming New Year.

Good morning, here we are at the beginning of November and preparing for the busy Christmas season. We are almost booked up and want to remind regular clients to book for the holiday if you have not done so already. This being said, we will no longer be able to take on any new clients until the New Year. Also our hours will be changing in the new year to Mon-Fri 10 am- 5 pm and no longer be able to provide weekend appointments. I would like to remind people the importance of showing up for appointments at appropriate times and pick up when your pup is finished. We are a one on one exclusive service and do not have the facility for daycare. We look forward to seeing everyone before the holidays and will be providing, once again, the complimentary photos for the month of Dec. If you would like a holiday photo ahead of time , please let us know and we can arrange a sitting. Enjoy some photos and the short video of handsome Watson....
