And here's our biggest boy, Cocoa, loving the snow!
Cocoa is a 4.5-5 year old American Bulldog X. Cocoa is a big boy, good-natured but boisterous so not recommended for households with small children. He's good with cats and other dogs. Starts off a bit nervous but comes around and is friendly. He's vaccinated and booked for a neuter and then will be ready to find a home. Breed experience is an asset. Please call the shelter at 519 372-2911 for an appointment to meet this handsome guy.

Not everyone minds the snow. Our little guy, Rudy, was having a great time in the snow.🥰 as were most of the dogs today.
Rudy is a friendly 8 year old Shih Tzu Chihuahua Jack Russel X. Rudy does have some separation anxiety issues. He is good with people, other dogs and not bad with cats. Rudy is vaccinated and booked for a neuter. Please call the shelter for an appointment to meet this cutie at 519-372-1911.

Liam (now Cian) with his new friends
Here's an update on Liam (now Cian) playing in his new home with some new furry friends. He has a great life now! Happy boy! We love these updates!
Paisley at Play
Our girl Paisley has been with us many months and while she loves our volunteers and staff and enjoys playtime, we'd love to see her in a home. She's a 6 year old Bully X. She's spayed and up to date on shots and ready to find a home. Paisley prefers to be the only dog in the home, though she loves to walk with other dogs. She's a very friendly out-going girl. She is moderately active but mostly just wants cuddles and treats! Please call the shelter at 519 372-1911 to find out more about this nice girl.
Tuesday acrobatic demonstration, courtesy of our latest kittens, now 5 weeks old, Bob, Eunice, Betsy, Agnes, Harriet and Walter. Boys are the all grey kitten and the light grey tabby. Rest are girls. They are growing so fast and Talia has been a great Mom.🥰
Come see our lovely, playful kittens! Please call 519 372-1911 for an appointment to meet them.🥰
Adoption News...another foster fail! Little Rosie has won the hearts of her foster family and now has a permanent home! She's so happy! Good luck little one.🥰
We have such a great bunch of dogs at the moment. They get along beautifully and have settled into shelter life so well. We've been marvelling at how quiet they are when we arrive at the shelter...and all happily greeting the volunteers. They love to get out to play separately or together. It's a real treat having such a lovable bunch! Here are some of the more playful. Louie (brown and white) only just arrived and joined in with the others very happily. Henry, the boxer, is a little camera shy but makes an appearance at the end. He really enjoys playing with the puppies, Willow and Winston.🥰
Whiskey and pups, Willow and Winston, were having a fun time outside today...loving the milder weather. This big field is such a great spot for the dogs to play!
Our little mother, Whiskey, had a fun outing this week at Harrison Park. All the dogs get daily AM and PM walks and playtime at the shelter. Sometimes, as an extra treat, one of our volunteers will take one out for a little adventure. It's so great for them! You can see Whiskey thinks this is a great idea! She's such a nice girl! Thanks, on behalf of our furry friends, to staff and volunteers who go over and above to keep life interesting while the dogs and cats are in our care!! Whiskey is 2 years old and a real love. Please call the shelter at 519 372 1911 for an appointment to meet this girl.
Snow!!! Luna, our 5 year old Husky, is loving this! She's such a sweet, fun-loving girl.
