Epic Strides Equine Inspired Skill Development

I have always had horses in my life and know and appreciate the positive and transformative impact of the horse-human relationship. Combining this with a formal academic background in developmental psychology, and a three decade career dedicated to empowering children with exceptionalities and their families, now is the time to offer a unique service in the Grey and Bruce area.

Epic Strides Equine Inspired Skill Development will move you forward through evidence - informed, objectively driven, experiential learning opportunities with horses. You will make changes in abilities to connect, reflect and express through the transformative power of the horse as your teacher and the building block EAL curriculum.

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) facilitated sessions will improve communications, confidence, essential leadership skills and team dynamics. Services offered can be customized to provide experiences for participants of all ages and abilities. Horse Powered Reading® sessions will offer emergent and beginning readers with activities targeted to improve fundamental skills for decoding, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and motivation for a love of reading.

By appointment only. Private, semi-private and groups up to four.
No riding involved and all equine partners are under 44 inches tall.
