π π π April 4th is World Stray Animals Day π π π
It's a day dedicated to increasing awareness about stray animals worldwide and the problems they face.
A βstrayβ cat is defined as a cat who has been abandoned or lost, as opposed to a cat born outside who is referred to as a βferalβ cat because that cat has had very limited interactions with humans.
βοΈStray & feral community cats are in desperate circumstances through no fault of their own.
Stray cats rely on caring and compassionate individuals. Please help stray (and feral) cats get spayed/neutered and vaccinated to help these cats live better lives and to help decrease the unowned outdoor cat population.
How can you help stray cats? -
1. Make a donation to your favorite rescue.
2. Adopt from a local shelter or rescue.
3. Support & donate to your local trap/neuter/return (TNR) organizations to help with spay/neuter services.
4. Learn how to TNR so you can help/volunteer your time getting community cats fixed and vaccinated in your neighborhood.
5. Raise awareness and spread the word about the needs of unowned cats.
