My bet is Lady being the first to foal this year. She always goes to 340-342.. but this year she has me questioning whether she will be popping a bit earlier 🤔

But, we are in the safe zone so I'm ready to meet this little one any time.. 🥳

I'm pretty sure Lady is pretty over being pregnant at this point. I definitely dont blame her with a belly hanging this low 🫣

Looking forward to getting the new foaling cameras on Tuesday so I can keep regular eyes on the broodmares..

Two of my mares in foal are officially past their safe dates 🥳

Everyone seems like they have a few weeks to go yet.. I am happy to wait, and definitely looking forward to being able to do my foal watches from the house this year instead of years previous when it was hourly checks walking to the barn when they were in their final few days.

Momma Lady is hanging loowww⬇️, just a few more days until her safe date. I'm definitely thinking she is cooking a c**t in there after seeing how she carries both c**ts and a filly since I have had her. The nail test agrees. 🤔

I Can't wait to meet all of these babies ❤️

Beautiful Ivan standing for a nice groom&getting his blanket back on after covering his first mare of the year.
Hopefully in a few weeks we get the confirmation that we will be expecting a draft (percheron) cross Ivan foal in 2026!
It will be a gaurenteed pinto.. and 95% likely to be black just like its parents. 🥰

My favourite horse I have ever had was "just" a draft cross. But she truly was so much more then that. She could do anything, and had a heart of gold. I'm sure anyone who knew JoJo would need to agree, she was 1 in a millon. Draft crosses make amazing mounts for a variety of disciplines. ❤️

I always love seeing updates on the babies ❤️
This is "Cruze" (cruise/kruise/kruize) 😆 he is by Chevy "Pines Zippo Bar", and out of Lady "Only Sayin".

Lady is currently 310 days in foal to my sporthorse stallion. However, I loved both foals produced by this cross so much I think I will be repeating it again this year.

At just coming 3 and less then 6 months of light riding he's showing how willing he is under saddle.. both with&without a bridle.

I love that I'm kept in the loop with this boy, and can't wait to see what this pair get up to this summer. 🥰🤩

Cookie is open for the 2025 season, and it's a tough decision of who she is going to be crossed with this year 🤔.
Although her previous 2 foals by Chevy are definitely convincing to do the cross again.. Her 2024 c**t was Bolt, and her 2023 c**t was Camaro now know lovingly known as "Tex".

Another confirmed cross I am excited to produce is this one here ⬇️
Hallie who is currently in foal to my sporthorse stallion (due March) will be bred to the stallion "Sudden Outlaw" this season.
This foal is going to be dual registered with both AQHA and APHA.
Talk about bred in the purple this foal is going to have names such as Lazy Loper, Gotta Lota Potential, RL Best of a Sudden, Good Vital signs (FULL sibling to Vital Signs are good), One N Only, Invitation Only, and A Good Machine all directly ON its papers.
Hallie herself has quite the show record.. She was shown both in Ontario and Quebec in Hunter Under Saddle, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Trail, and Western Pleasure.

This foal is going to be one to watch out for. This one will only be available to a competitive show home. 😍
2026 is going to be an exciting foaling season for sure 🙌

After a lot of thought I have decided I am going to breed Estella (Mess 497 x Tonjes 459) to my personal Canadian sporthorse stallion "Smooth Criminal" this season for a 2026 foal!
I have been back and forth whether to go outside for both of these girls or whether I would cross to Ivan.
I have decided I am going to cross my one mare to Ivan this season, and the other to an outside stallion.
This baby will be 50% friesian, and carry 25% Mees 497, (FEI/Grand Prix dressage), and 18.5% Art Deco (A very influential stallion in the colored warmblood/sporthorse industry) blood..
This will be a GAURENTEED tobiano (Pinto) foal, and over 95% chances to be black and white.
The foal will be registered with FHH at minimum, but there will be multiple other registration options as well.

Over the next month I will be finalizing who is being crossed with who, and I will post to let you all know since the breeding season is quickly approaching!

Looking forward to the 2026 foaling season. I may have as many as 9 (!) Foals coming next year 🫢

Less then 2 months before I meet the little bun she has cooking in the oven.
With her average gestation being right around 340 days, I am expecting her to foal the first week of March.
This baby is RESERVED in-utero.
But, Hallie's will be available.. and a heck of a hunter prospect.

Polka [Dots] is my 3 children's pony. She's a sweetheart, she will be teaching my 7 year old the basics and eventually when he is ready to move up Charlie&Link will have their turn. She's definitely "in your pocket" (for snacks) 😆
