My bet is Lady being the first to foal this year. She always goes to 340-342.. but this year she has me questioning whether she will be popping a bit earlier 🤔

But, we are in the safe zone so I'm ready to meet this little one any time.. 🥳

I'm pretty sure Lady is pretty over being pregnant at this point. I definitely dont blame her with a belly hanging this low 🫣

Looking forward to getting the new foaling cameras on Tuesday so I can keep regular eyes on the broodmares..

Two of my mares in foal are officially past their safe dates 🥳

Everyone seems like they have a few weeks to go yet.. I am happy to wait, and definitely looking forward to being able to do my foal watches from the house this year instead of years previous when it was hourly checks walking to the barn when they were in their final few days.

Momma Lady is hanging loowww⬇️, just a few more days until her safe date. I'm definitely thinking she is cooking a c**t in there after seeing how she carries both c**ts and a filly since I have had her. The nail test agrees. 🤔

I Can't wait to meet all of these babies ❤️

Beautiful Ivan standing for a nice groom&getting his blanket back on after covering his first mare of the year.
Hopefully in a few weeks we get the confirmation that we will be expecting a draft (percheron) cross Ivan foal in 2026!
It will be a gaurenteed pinto.. and 95% likely to be black just like its parents. 🥰

My favourite horse I have ever had was "just" a draft cross. But she truly was so much more then that. She could do anything, and had a heart of gold. I'm sure anyone who knew JoJo would need to agree, she was 1 in a millon. Draft crosses make amazing mounts for a variety of disciplines. ❤️

I always love seeing updates on the babies ❤️
This is "Cruze" (cruise/kruise/kruize) 😆 he is by Chevy "Pines Zippo Bar", and out of Lady "Only Sayin".

Lady is currently 310 days in foal to my sporthorse stallion. However, I loved both foals produced by this cross so much I think I will be repeating it again this year.

At just coming 3 and less then 6 months of light riding he's showing how willing he is under saddle.. both with&without a bridle.

I love that I'm kept in the loop with this boy, and can't wait to see what this pair get up to this summer. 🥰🤩

It was such a clear and beautiful night last night going out to check on the horses at 10. It was so brightly lit on the walk out.. no flashlight needed that's for sure! 🤩

Some Cookie pampering today. ❤️🍪
Cookie is open for the 2025 season, and it's a tough decision of who she is going to be crossed with this year 🤔.
Although her previous 2 foals by Chevy are definitely convincing to do the cross again.. Her 2024 c**t was Bolt, and her 2023 c**t was Camaro now know lovingly known as "Tex".

I love seeing her when I go out in the mornings with her little nicker as hello (and where's my breakfast? 🫣) every day.

Another confirmed cross I am excited to produce is this one here ⬇️
Hallie who is currently in foal to my sporthorse stallion (due March) will be bred to the stallion "Sudden Outlaw" this season.
This foal is going to be dual registered with both AQHA and APHA.
Talk about bred in the purple this foal is going to have names such as Lazy Loper, Gotta Lota Potential, RL Best of a Sudden, Good Vital signs (FULL sibling to Vital Signs are good), One N Only, Invitation Only, and A Good Machine all directly ON its papers.
Hallie herself has quite the show record.. She was shown both in Ontario and Quebec in Hunter Under Saddle, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Trail, and Western Pleasure.

This foal is going to be one to watch out for. This one will only be available to a competitive show home. 😍
2026 is going to be an exciting foaling season for sure 🙌

After a lot of thought I have decided I am going to breed Estella (Mess 497 x Tonjes 459) to my personal Canadian sporthorse stallion "Smooth Criminal" this season for a 2026 foal!
I have been back and forth whether to go outside for both of these girls or whether I would cross to Ivan.
I have decided I am going to cross my one mare to Ivan this season, and the other to an outside stallion.
This baby will be 50% friesian, and carry 25% Mees 497, (FEI/Grand Prix dressage), and 18.5% Art Deco (A very influential stallion in the colored warmblood/sporthorse industry) blood..
This will be a GAURENTEED tobiano (Pinto) foal, and over 95% chances to be black and white.
The foal will be registered with FHH at minimum, but there will be multiple other registration options as well.

Over the next month I will be finalizing who is being crossed with who, and I will post to let you all know since the breeding season is quickly approaching!

Looking forward to the 2026 foaling season. I may have as many as 9 (!) Foals coming next year 🫢

Less then 2 months before I meet the little bun she has cooking in the oven.
With her average gestation being right around 340 days, I am expecting her to foal the first week of March.
This baby is RESERVED in-utero.
But, Hallie's will be available.. and a heck of a hunter prospect.

Polka [Dots] is my 3 children's pony. She's a sweetheart, she will be teaching my 7 year old the basics and eventually when he is ready to move up Charlie&Link will have their turn. She's definitely "in your pocket" (for snacks) 😆

"Smooth Criminal"
Ivan is my lovely Canadian Sporthorse stallion. He is the pinto stallion I am expecting 2 foals by this coming season out of Lady and Hallie.

Ivan has been out of riding work now for 2 years because of my back to back pregnancies, but I will be slowly bringing him back into work over the next few months. Although, he was still green when he was put on the "back burner", I am hoping to have him out into some shows this coming show season. I also have plans to have him approved AES for additional registration options.

Ivan is by State of the Art, and out of a Hall of Fame daughter. He carries 37.5% Art Deco blood. The fact he's homogyzous tobiano is the icing on the cake. 🍰

I can't wait to get this boy going again and seeing what we can accomplish the next few years. 💫

He will be crossed with a few of my mares this season for 2026 foals as well. I am also hoping to have some professional photos done of this boy as well in the near future to truly capture his look🥰

Duchess took the saddle so perfectly today (kept her foot resting and had no worries), I had to jump on and take her for her for her first walk under saddle. We steered,stopped, and stood patiently so I don't think it could have gone any better. This is only her third time with tack. 🙌
I do start all of my horses under saddle in a halter, and move to a bit when they are confident in the aids.
Hopefully in the next week the weather begins to get better, and I will be able to begin riding her outside. Absolutely love the minds on both Duchess and Estella. ❤️
The pigeons found my uncovered training saddle.. oops. I had to give it a scrub down before getting on 😆

I'll be posting about some of the foals I have had since 2022, when my first foal was born by Chevy.

Bolt was a foal from this past year 2024.. He is by Chevy my AQHA stallion, and out of Cookie, my black and white paint mare.

I missed this boy by 5 minutes when he was born but I was able to witness his first steps still. I was working, and what a surprise it was to walk out to at 11pm. I am glad I was still able to make sure he stood and nursed. Cookie is such a lovely momma. ❤️

Bolt sold very quickly and is very loved by his new owner who has hopes to get him showing on the APHA circuit this season in halter.

Cookie has been left open for 2025 so she could have a year off after having multiple foals in a row.
I cannot wait to see what she has in 2026, I still am not positive who she will be crossed with.. So stay tuned! 🤭

This will be the last post for today but I just can't wait to introduce these two mares on my page.. 🤩

I was absolutely BLESSED to have the opportunity to add not just one KFPS friesian mare, but two into my program the fall of 2024.

They have pedigrees that are truly hard to come across in NA, and here they sit with me 🥰

Duchess is by Meinte 490 x Lolkie 371

Estella is by Mees 497(!!) x Tonjes 459

I have some big plans for these girls, they will both be started under saddle this year and bred for 2026 foals.

Fun fact
~These are the first horses I have ever owned I still need to check and see which one I am looking at some days.. because boy they could be twins.. If Estella didnt have the smallest star I could definitely be in trouble 😆~

Lou AKA LL Smooth Cash is my third and final mare in foal for this season. She is in foal to my AQHA stallion Pines Zippo Bar.

This foal is going to have a great foundation type pedigree including names like
Zippo Pat Bars, Three Bars, Poco Pine, Poco Beuno, Sonny Dee Bar, Zippo Pine Bar, Nu Chex to Cash, Nu Chex, Blueboy Quincy, and Major Bonanza.

I am looking forward to seeing this cross of the foundation breeding on reining/cow/halter type mare. Lou is not one to stand pretty for photos, and these days she would much prefer to stuff her belly and cook up the baby then be bothered with looking "pretty".. and that's fair 😆

I am still deciding who I will be crossing with my quarter horse stallion in 2025, but he's been very consistent with his first few foal crops. 🤗

This baby's safe date at 320 days is Valentine's Day. 🥰

You will be seeing me posting a lot more in 2025 on my business page. 2024 was another busy year. Unfortunately, I again struggled with some problems that went along with my pregnancies.

I decided due to my health that I would not be Breeding very many of my horses in 2024 for 2025 foals, so I could focus a bit on my own health and getting into the swing of things running a breeding barn and having 2 kids 13 months apart.

This year is going to be a busy year with lots of plans and goals, and many amazing people willing to help make it happen.

Currently, I have 2 mares in foal to my Art Deco bred sport horse stallion Smooth Criminal that I am looking forward to.

Beautiful Hallie [One Loping Machine] is a 16h AQHA mare that was shown on the circuit in showmanship, trail, pleasure, and horsemanship in both Ontario and QC. This will be her first foal.

Lady [Only Sayin] is a 15.2h APHA mare that is also in foal to Smooth Criminal. This will be her first time having a foal from this cross but her third foal in my program, and I am always in awe with the temperaments and conformations of her foals.

Both mares are due in March of 2025, and all I know is that they are both going to be having tobiano foals. I cannot wait to see what they produce. I have decided to be nice and post the mommas in their fit shape as well, because speaking from experience, pregnancy is not always the most flattering thing for angles 🤭

These foals will be registered Ptha, and I hope to be getting the sire approved AES, so this will open up registration possibilities as well.

I absolutely love my QH x warmblood foals, I find they have very willing attitudes and can stand up just as well with the other horses on the circuit. I have had luck with these types of crosses in the past, and have no doubt these two mares will prove the cross right again ❤️.

~Fun fact, Both of these mares are granddaughters of the same stallion~
