Mars Petcare Recalls Bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Due To Potential Loose Metal Contamination

This does not affect Canada at this time but a stark reminder why we don’t carry Brands of food by these Mega Pet food companies, this one makes over 50 different brands

The presence of loose metal parts in dog food could pose a potential choking threat to dogs, as well as causing internal damage if swallowed, and damage to teeth if chewed. Mars Petcare U.S. did not specify what type of metal it was, nor how it got into the bags of food.

Can you imagine having to worry about checking your food for pieces of metal and this is not the first time this has happened
