We received our first Reserve Best In Show at the Avalon Kennel club a few weeks back!

365 days prior to this weekend was the first time we ever stepped into a show ring.

The moment you realize everything is falling into place with your very first show dog. The moment you realize you can do it yourself- no professional handler, just a lot of training, sweat & tears. The feeling of receiving this ribbon was exhilarating and I’ll never forget it.

It’s been a long year & as much as I wanted to give up, we’re better than ever as a team.

I love this journey. 🩷

Aspen & I had the best time at the Calgary Kennel Club this weekend. 🎉

Aspen took Best of Breed x 4 & a beautiful group 4 in a very competitive line up, with some of the top sporting dogs in the country!

Currently the #8 GSP in Canada @ 18 mths old

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this girl!

For the last 8 years, the Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador has been available 24 hours a day for you and your pets.

Due to staffing shortages, the VSCNL team will be temporarily condensing our hours.

Our 24/7 emergency services will be decreased as of July
2nd, 2024.

VSCNL's Emergency Walk-In Hours will be limited to 8am-7pm, 7 days a week.

We want to thank all of the family veterinarians and clients of Newfoundland and Labrador for your continued support.

The Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador will be closed for emergency services from 7pm until 8am 7 days a week. During this time, your family veterinarian will be responsible for your pets after hours emergency care.

If you are experiencing an emergency with your pet and you need immediate care, please call your family veterinarian.
