As a reminder - our boarding is offered in home and small scale. We only take 1-3 dog at a time to ensure each dog has their individual needs met. Dogs MUST be crate trained in order to meet our eligibility criteria - see our website for more details.

Your high energy dog doesn’t need another walk - they need fulfilling outlets to meet their natural instinctual drives!

Let’s be real, walks can be pretty boring! So do MORE with your dog! Tap into their breed specific needs and find ways to express and channel their drive.

Now, hopefully you researched the breed before bringing them home, but in the chance you didn’t - investigate it! Do you have a herder? A terrier? A retriever? Tap into their breed(s) to scratch that itch - there are so many sports and activities out there designed just for your dog!

Above all- play with your damn dog. Play cooperative games like fetch, or competitive games like tug. Make it purposeful and blend in obedience and boundaries to the game! Bring out your flirt pole or your best goofy side during personal play!

In conclusion - do more of this 🧠💪🏼🎾 and less of this 🦮🚶‍♀️

Structured exercises might include but are not limited to: pass by’s, weaving, switching handlers, engagement games, and more!

Any and every skill level welcome- this will be a judgement free zone! Reactive dogs welcome but must be under control. Leashed greetings are not advised during this meetup, please be mindful of your space!

Not sure if you’re ready for this opportunity? Come for 10:00am and join our Coexist Club! Bring a coffee, lawn chair or blanket and practice calm neutrality around other like- minded owners and their dogs!

Miss Kiya is the life of the party, and your next best friend! I met Kiya in 2023 when she was rescued by and let me tell YOU…This girl has come leaps and bounds, she holds a very special place in my heart (iykyk). But somehow, nearly 2 years later, she’s yet to find her forever.

Kiya absolutely LOVES to play - ball, tug, flirt pole, even the water hose! She bonds best with people through play. Not only that, play is one of the best ways to help settle her anxieties! Kiya has undergone extensive training, but does take medication to help her be her best self!

Day Train Gang, or, Riggs’ Angels (you choose)

What is a Day Train?!

Day Trains are an in-home, structured alternative to day care! Day Trains may include but are not limited to the following:

✨30-60+ minute walk or hike
✨Pack activities
✨Public outings
✨Multiple training sessions
✨Play with handler
✨Rest time

Day Trains are customized and will focus on incorporating your current training goals. I.e.: loose leash walking, reactivity, socialization, e collar intro, etc. Day Trains are not suitable for severe behavioural modification purposes such as dog/ people aggression, severe anxiety, etc. We have other services for that!

A little late but… welcome Norman! 🩵

This blue eyed beauty is a 3 year old Australian Shepherd, and recently graduated from our in home Board & Train program.

In true Aussie fashion, Norm is a smart and pushy dude. He is an intelligent fella who has the capacity to manipulate opportunities to get his way. Combo this with a lack of breed specific fulfilment, he would seek it on his own in otherwise inappropriate manners. When this was addressed, his anxiety came to a head.

His goals coming into B&T were to create foundation for general obedience, but after a few days it became apart we needed to revamp his mindset entirely before those goals could be addressed. His anxiety was so high from interrupting old patterns, he was unable to perform simple tasks.

Insert decompression time, structure, boundaries and fulfillment through play, Norman began to gain confidence and take a back seat. He’s gone home with a more stable mindset and skills for his parents to continue to build on!

Fun fact: Norman would run on the treadmill for an hour if you let him!😂

Kiki is a sweet, energetic lady! But, give her an appropriate outlet to fulfill and meet her needs, and she’s the best low maintenance snuggle buddy, or work from home colleague.

Miss girl is with us from to complete a 2 week Board & Train where we’re working to address her dog reactivity, impulse control and overall state of mind. We’ve been working hard to set clear boundaries and expectations to wash away old habits, and she is thriving! She is seriously SO fun to work with and very eager to train - she’ll never turn down a session!

Kiki would be happiest in a home with no other dogs, cats, or small children. She enjoys having dog pals, but loves the company of people much more! Ideally, Kiki’s future adopter or foster family would be committed to continuing her training to help her be the best version of herself.

As a fulfilling outlet, I would love to see Kiki involved in a sport such as Canicross, Agility, Barnhunt, Sprinter or even Rally-O! Interested in knowing more - DM me! Please help share this post so we can find this beauty a home!🤞🏼💜
