Kiki is a sweet, energetic lady! But, give her an appropriate outlet to fulfill and meet her needs, and she’s the best low maintenance snuggle buddy, or work from home colleague.

Miss girl is with us from to complete a 2 week Board & Train where we’re working to address her dog reactivity, impulse control and overall state of mind. We’ve been working hard to set clear boundaries and expectations to wash away old habits, and she is thriving! She is seriously SO fun to work with and very eager to train - she’ll never turn down a session!

Kiki would be happiest in a home with no other dogs, cats, or small children. She enjoys having dog pals, but loves the company of people much more! Ideally, Kiki’s future adopter or foster family would be committed to continuing her training to help her be the best version of herself.

As a fulfilling outlet, I would love to see Kiki involved in a sport such as Canicross, Agility, Barnhunt, Sprinter or even Rally-O! Interested in knowing more - DM me! Please help share this post so we can find this beauty a home!🤞🏼💜

2024 been a journey of passion, hard work, and dedication, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support I’ve received along the way!

I’m so thankful for the trust my clients have placed in me and the opportunity to help dogs become their best selves. Whether it’s improving behavior, building stronger bonds, or teaching new skills, I’m excited to see how much more we can accomplish together.

Things I wish more dog owners knew…

1️⃣ Your dog ISN’T LAZY or stubborn, you just haven’t found what motivates them! The 4Ts: Talk, Touch, Taste and Toy! Have you appropriately introduced all of these motivators before ruling out their ability to learn and work?

2️⃣ Doing LESS, can actually help you do MORE. That goal of yours to take your dog to sit at a coffee shop? You don’t need to go on a 2 hour walk to have them to be calm in new or stimulating environments. You need to practice doing nothing more instead!

3️⃣ Your dog probably has NO CLUE what you’re saying! Quit the excess talk with your dog, unless you specifically taught them what “now stop, don’t do that, he doesn’t want to say hi” means, they don’t understand... Instead, focus on installing your markers words, handler engagement and leash communication! I bet you’ll have a lot more success in redirecting them.

4️⃣ Training is a LIFESTYLE, not a temporary change! This goes for your day-to-day interactions, structure and boundaries, etc! Not just active sessions to teach general obedience.

5️⃣ A lot of problem behaviours can be solved if you use a LEASH. Yep. Not responding to recall? Leash. Jumping on guests in the home? Leash. Puppy nipping? Leash.

Chevys back! 🧡

7 months ago, Chevy joined us for a Board and Train to lay foundation and address some pesky behaviours before they grew into bigger problems. Now, he’s back for another program- but this time to condition the E Collar!

It’s crazy how much he’s changed and matured over such a short period of time. He’s much more confident, cooperative and eager to work. Stay tuned for his next chapter towards freedom!🤩👏🏻

Did you know, we offer trial night boarding?

If you’ve never worked with us before, never been boarded, OR, you’d like that piece of mind to know that your dog is safe and happy whilst in someone else’s care... this option might be perfect for you!

During a trial board, you can expect the following:

* Regular potty breaks.
* Minimum 2 walks x day.
* Outlets to fulfill physical and mental needs, etc.
* Calm, clean and structured boarding space with only 1-3 dogs at a time.

We strive to make our boarding a fun, home away from home environment so your dogs transition is seamless. We want your dogs to want to come back and know that their needs will be met and they’ll receive the same level of care n love as they do at home.

Meet, Hazel! 🌰

Named after the nuts at her families tree farm, this (not so little) lady is a 4m old lab mix… or so the rescue thinks. I spy some Dane in there. 🤭

Hazels spending the week with us while her family is travelling. She’s also 1 session away from completing her puppy private package so we’ll continue to work on all her skills and socialization this week!

Queen Kiya is available for adoption through . She’s been in our care for 1.5 years and the hunt for her forever family continues. 👀

Kiya holds a super special spot in my heart- we worked together weekly for months before my move! She’s undergone a heap of training and is now off- leash trained so she can safely adventure with her future peeps! She is true to her Boxer quirks and will give you belly laughs all. dang. day.

Something I don’t see people doing enough with their dogs- ✨nothing✨ I get it, our lives are busy and our dogs have physical needs to be met! A walk will do the trick, right? But does your dog also struggle to “turn off”? Do they whine and pace while indoors? Or can’t settle in new places? Odds are- your dog could use a whole lot more of doing nothing! Doing nothing, doesn’t have to be as boring as it sounds. Bring a blanket to the park, a drink and snacks, and just watch! Doing more of this will also serve as opportunities to work on socialization with your puppy or new rescue, or even counter conditioning through thresholds for your reactive dog!
