After school today we went to Animal Care Centre Lobo to drop off some donations that we collected from friends and neighbours. We had old towels and some dog food and treats, as well as $31 from our last lemonade stand. Then we played with the cats. It was fun. Right now they have 19 cats and 60 dogs, most of whom are ready for adoption!

Will and June have completed their first official, paid Pet Care obligation! Congratulations to them both for their diligent work. Every day, twice a day, rain or shine we visited "Creamsicle", fed and watered her, washed out her bowls, played with her and (tried to) pet her, even emptied her litter box!
I am so proud of them both.

Today after school we visited Animal Care Centre Lobo to give the donations we collected this weekend. We earned $26 from lemonade sales, and collected 5 blankets and a cat carrier! We got to pet the kittens and cats. There are 5 new little kitties that will soon be ready for adoption!

They are always in need of blankets (new or used) and newspapers. If you have some to donate we will collect them and deliver them.
