We hope everyone has a fun and safe evening. Here are a few tips on how to keep your pets safe:

We recommend keeping cats inside to stop them from getting spooked or accidentally harmed throughout the evening. 🐈‍⬛

Fireworks can be scary to pets! If your fur child dislikes loud noises, keeping them calm in a dark, quiet room might make the night easier. 🎆

Make sure to share to ensure everyone can keep their pets safe 💕🐾

It sure feels like Christmas came early for us 🎅 Our wonderful rescue partners Catspan Ferals Registered Charity on VI and CatNap Society have brought us a wonderful load of items to help replenish our pet food bank 💕🐾 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💖

Dr. Courtenay and her littlest Chase had a great time supporting Fantastic Beasts Veterinary Services at their open house over the weekend! Parksville is sure blessed to have their Pawsitive Care program and we can't thank them enough for accepting our clients for spay and neuter services!

Reminder that we do not have a December clinic but look forward to seeing you all January 16th for our next one!

A HUGE thank you to Northern Hope Dog Rescue Society for their donation. Our Pawsitive Care food bank was quite bare and now boasts full shelves of canned food, Christmas goodies, coats and more for dogs in need in our community 😭🐾💕🥰
The shared vision of helping those in need just keeps flowing and we can't describe how incredibly grateful we are 🫶🏽🙌🏾🙏🏻🐕🐶
Note - Our staff aren't able to give consistent updates on what's available in our food bank on an ongoing basis, but we'll do our very best to update in stories as often as we can to keep you posted 💓☃️

We are often told "Your staff seems like they genuinely want to be here". There’s a reason for that - we love coming to work everyday because we genuinely believe in what we’re doing! Our clinic has strong values and goals that we all share, such as the “One health, One welfare” approach to vet med. We believe that together we can make a difference in our community! Our clinic will not be open for appointments during the event. Our staff will be here to meet, greet, tour and chat with all of you 🐾💕 We really enjoyed meeting everyone last year!

We're SO excited to host another holiday public open house. Our staff really enjoyed meeting everyone last year, so...we figured why not make it an annual thing!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 7, 2024 (11am-3pm)

Enjoy a scavenger hunt, photo ops, and snacks while you tour our hospital (treatment area, surgery suites, and all)! We are also providing some holiday shopping with our custom Calendars and pick up for those that have ordered cheese from our fundraiser.

Speaking of cheese - We're selling locally made Holiday cheese bundles (for humans 🙃) for $25. You can email [email protected] or call us at 250-947-1763 to place an order. Proceeds from this fundraiser will support our Pawsitive Care Programs 💕

🥲 We're not crying, YOU'RE crying 😭 The flow of emails, gratefulness and happy tears have been overwhelming for our clinic staff and we can't thank you enough for making everything we do possible ❤️

Ps - For the most recent FAQ, Yes! We accept donations of pet food and they can be dropped off at our clinic during regular business hours. We have loads of kitty food but are running low on dog food 🐕
