Are you noticing notches eaten out of your plant leaves? You most likely have vine weevils. Although unsightly, the real damage is happening under the soil where the roots are being eaten by weevil larvae. Vine weevil adults do not fly and can easily be trapped with a sticky insect barrier wrapped around the plant stalk. The larvae can be controlled biologically with insect parasitic specific nematodes. Applied in April/May and again in Aug/Sept. Cold shot nematodes are now in stock!
