Getting to know our soils.
Today we introduce Islands Finest Professional Series Top Soil.

Getting to know our soils.
Today we introduce My Soil Garden Booster.

Here are some simple directions for using mySoil Garden Booster Organic Mix:
- Choose the area in your garden where you want to apply the organic mix. Make sure the soil is free from any debris, weeds, or rocks.
- Measure the area to determine how much organic mix you'll need. One 50 L bag typically covers 20-30 square feet.
- Open the bag of mySoil Garden Booster Organic Mix and pour the contents onto the soil in the designated area.
- Use a garden rake or hoe to evenly distribute the mix over the soil. Make sure it's spread to a depth of at least 2-4 inches.
- Once the mix is evenly spread, water the area well. This will help the organic matter and nutrients from the mix to pe*****te the soil.
- You can now plant your desired plants or seeds in the area. Make sure to follow the specific planting instructions for each type of plant.

Beekeeping in January checklist from the Ministry of Agriculture Website.

• Make or order hive parts, equipment and supplies required for the season.
• Keep hive entrances clear of dead bees.
• In snow-free areas, gently tip the colony forward to gauge its weight. If light, supplemental sugar syrup may be applied. Limit disruption of colony as much as possible. If using a frame feeder, carefully crack the inner cover and slide sideways, pour the room-temperature syrup.
Make sure to add a floating device to prevent bees of drowning. Don’t open hives and disrupt the winter cluster.
