Pet care attendant, 20 hours a week to start, will progress into full time hours.

Join the team at Daisy's Doggy Daycare! 🐾 We are in search of a long-term employee to provide exceptional, loving dog care in our fast-paced environment. We prefer previous experience working with dogs but are willing to train someone who has a passion for dogs and a desire to learn about their behaviour. To be successful, you must be self-assured and confident you can hold your own when handling dogs of all sizes. During your shifts, you will monitor dog interactions and step in to prevent altercations using approved behavioural techniques with a focus on gentle handling. You will be responsible for providing a positive, fun, interactive experience while also ensuring the safety and health of the pet.

You will work effectively with other team members to complete daily checklists that consist of extensive cleaning, feeding, laundry, dishes, potty mess removal, and pet parent communication. We require you to learn our software program and provide excellent customer service to our furry client's parents. 20 hours a week with no late evenings or weekends. The successful candidate must be willing to have a criminal record check.

Hello everyone.

Unfortunately we have had to send home a dog with kennel cough like symptoms ☹️ due to the nature of how this can spread and how it can take a few days for symptoms to appear I have come to the hard decision to close the daycare down for 4 days to help stop the spread and keep our pups safe! We will be taking a long weekend closed Friday Feb 5th and re opening the Tuesday Feb 9th. If your dog is experiencing any of the symptoms of kennel cough please let us know. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to message Chelsea directly. Thank you for your understanding, all our love ❤️
