My name is Lily and I’m looking for a new home. As you can see I am a cute looking little girl. I am a 5 year old, spayed, Chihuahua Pug Mix. I weigh approximately 6 kgs. My mom rescued me, but due to circumstances I need to find my forever home. I currently live with my mom dog, but we don’t get along. I need to be rehomed by myself and be the jewel of the family. I am up to date with my shots and vet visit as of August 2024. I admit I have a small issue with my back leg so the vet said to not have walks until the end of November. I was attacked in Mexico and my one back leg was hurt. My other leg compensates so sometimes it gets tired. I’m really good with people, love to be picked up. I’m also good with children and not terribly bothered with cats. But I admit I don’t like other dogs much. I snarl at them, so we just avoid them. Once I get to know them I’m okay.

I am p*e pad trained and if my mom goes outside to p*e I follow her. I like to sleep in a crate as it makes me feel secure. I also like to sleep with in bed and cuddle. High pitched loud noises are scary for me. I like to go out in the car as well, and when ready I enjoy walks.

Hi, I’m Poppy. I am looking for my forever home. Mom has 3 dogs and can only keep one. So here I am. I’m cute as a button. I am a female, 6 year old Chihuahua Mini Pincer. I weigh about 17 pounds. My mom adopted me from Mexico. She saved me. I am up to date with my shots and I have been spayed. I am house trained and will look at you when I need to go out. I may bark at large dogs, but once we meet all is good. I can pull on my leash to chase cats and squirrels. I’m not sure how I would be around cats. I would like a home where I am the Queen and there is only me. I’m afraid of kids, so would like a home without them.

I sleep in my crate but love to cuddle in bed with my mom as well. I am also good when left alone. I like to walk and a couple of times per day would be great but once will work. I am a little nervous around loud noises, specifically the vacuum and may shake a bit. I really don’t like getting my nails clipped. I need to be muzzled for that job. I do like my baths though.

Car rides are fun. I’m good with that. I don’t like to be picked up. It makes me nervous but I love to be patted. Although I don’t like to be picked up, I will get up beside you and cuddle at any time. I want to be loved and adored. I would be a happy girl with the right person.

After 9 amazing years with EPL, Shelley is retiring. Today is her last day with us. We hope she takes some time to enjoy some new adventures and maybe even take a break! We will miss her so much but we are thrilled that she is moving into this next phase of her life.
