We have extra new blanket throws and pillowcases available through The Blanket Project and Miss Dixie's Foundation courtesy of Painted Donkey for rescues. Please PM for a pick-up appointment today, Friday, or Saturday.

I am sure you all heard the term it takes a village. With the most generous donation from Painted Donkey and amazing help from Chrissy McKenty, Carla Costa, Susan L Gaskell, and Miss Dixie's Foundation, and Andrew Heipel hoping I haven't missed anyone else.

This is one of the biggest picks up for blanket donation arranged for rescues in need. We can't thank you enough for this.

This is my lovely kitty Stella rescued from Arthur Animal Rescue Co-operative - So sassy this one. Loves all the blankets.

What names do you use for your furbabies? I call her moomoo, Stellee, Mini moo, kitty poo, and mostly boo boo.

She is a cutie pie. Like my boo boo, we can comfort many animals with blankets, towels, and sheets to give some warmth and comfort while waiting for their forever family in shelters.

Happy's Place- Retirement Home for Dogs is very special. They are an In-home-based senior dog rescue for dogs who are at a higher risk of euthanasia due to age or other reasons. Building relationships between people & old dogs to promote wellness, happiness, and living your best life.

Established in 1966, then as the local branch of the Ontario Humane Society (Known as the OSPCA today), the Northumberland Humane Society (NHS) has been serving the local community for 50 years and remains the only registered charitable animal shelter in Northumberland County.
