Cash has just completed 30 days of training at Poplar Ridge Ranch and much like his siblings, he’s shown just how versatile and trainable this cross is!
Cash is light on his feet, a smooth ride and is keen to please. Whether you’re wanting to do barrels, rope, work on the ranch — or anything in between— Cash will not only get the job done, he’ll make you look good doing it.
He is proving to have a great work ethic and is already settling into the life of a working horse very well.
He’s had 2 intermediate youth ride him (under instruction, and no this doesn’t mean he’s kid safe) and has even been rode in rain, hail and thunder which he handled exceptionally well.
With only 30 days of training, this c**t is progressing very well; buyer should be experienced riding c**ts or send to a trainer to further bring him along.

✅ Started with the basics under saddle: flex laterally and vertically, disengage hind quarters, yield to leg pressure and direct/indirect rein, turn on haunch

✅ Worked the flag a few times- basic understanding and tracking the flag.
✅ Has had a rope swung off him, carried tarps, and flags
