Austin the Warmblood. Ride 2, day 16. Today he started to learn about having two reins and he’s starting to steer around like a old pro. Also asked for a bit of trot, he gave me a bit of a skoot when I started to post (perfect example of listening to your gut, cause I could feel he wasn’t free enough and ready) but he relaxed and came around.
Even with the quiet ones, I guess I pull my hat down...lol I kid I kid , this Warmblood has been nothing but a gentleman and joy to start. His first ride was easy and honest. This is day 14 and his first ride.

Here is Lins getting on and off a couple times. She’s reinforcing good habits in the horse to stand and find calm for when she gets on.
Here Lin’s is working on some hip control and preparation for the horse steer to a stop before she gets in the saddle.
Started under saddle and is coming along really good! This was his first time at a trot with me in the saddle and he handled it like a champ.
