Thank you Alder Creek Kennel for taking amazing care of the big ones. This was a trial daycare day for me to see how they would do in this type of setting(I’m most definitely an anxious helicopter dog mom). They were happy and PAWSitively pooped upon pick up
What I love about alder? They match dogs based on play style which is KEY to avoid conflict. D&P will be matched with dog friends when they learn their personalities and play style.

Drop 2 of 2 going to Riverview Rescues.

I would like to thank you all for your support both this year, and every other year. It truly was our best year for our Christmas donation drive and it’s all thanks to you guys. It saddens me that this is our last one in Renfrew County, but this will be a tradition that keeps going in our new province next year.

I’m so proud of how far Gus has come with his nail trim appointments. His first couple of visits he was jumping all around acting crazy giving warning bites. (I believe his vet recommended he come here but don’t quote me) This is proof you cannot treat every dog the same. Most dogs you want to keep calm and relaxed. Gus is much happier and willing to learn through play and praise so I rev him up, followed by a quick post nail trim play session. (Dont mind my warm fuzzies, our furnace isn’t currently working *don’t worry replacement part is on its way* )

Wolfie was so brave for his first ever trip to a groom salon. I didn’t want to have to take him too short because of winter, so where he had heavy matting is shorter than other places. But he’s comfortable and that’s all that matters. I told him this morning it wouldn’t take him long to find his forever home and I found out he will be going there today!

Free groom for Wolfie, up for adoption from the SPCA. This sweet boy is 9 months old and has never set foot in a groom salon. He has significant matting on his legs and belly but lets see what we can do
