Bittersweet day for everyone at Bark & Bella - Atlas is moving!

We spent the day ball chasing, sniffing, playing iSpy with the wildlife, enjoying lotsa treats and napping. All the things Atlas loves most!

It's been a pleasure to be your home away from home sweet boy. Your calm, gentle deminor was a wonderful addition to our family. What on earth are we going to do about mice control this spring?!

We look forward to welcoming him back for some drop-in visits in the future. Enjoy your next adventure! 🥺💗

This afternoon Bella made a special visit to our new friend, Jack.

Jack is overcoming his own mountains and keeping his mental health clear and fostering his young mind with love and support was Bella's job today. Kids need to be kids without the stressers of today's world.

This sweet, bright boy who shares our love for animals, and tail wags. Bella provided comforting kisses and a peaceful paw to hold.

We are so appreciative to have this intimate training session, as Bella has big goals in mind for her therapy journey. I couldn't be more proud of his aussie girl. My heart is so full and I love documenting her journey every step of the way. 💕

All that was missing was the cucumbers for their eyes - but my labs would eat them anyways!

A tremendous thank you to Heidi, owner of Valley Fairy Tails for volunteering her time yesterday for our first FUR-laxing Friday.

Each pup recieved a custom pampering plan selected by their owners. The pampering for each pup could include,

• ROM before/after.

• Heart rate before/after.

• Full body assessment of muscular system.

• Outline of tension spots with reccomendations for home exercises.

•Paw massage with hemp/grape seed oils - including shaving of paw pads, nail trims
oat, ear and paw assessments, nail + paw trims.

• Ear check + clean.

• Brushing + mat removal. Including a leave in conditioner used while massage is being done.

Seeing each pup welcoming this new experience and being able to give back to some of our owners with this free service is a wonderful feeling.

And to finish off the day, every pup went home with a little something - because Heidi is literally here for your precious pets. Eats, sleeps and breaths!!! 💕

All results and videos will be sent to owners in the coming days. But for now, take a scroll through all of these pups enjoying their day FUR-laxing day at Bark & Bella. Some pups even fell asleep!

*We are planning to have another massage day come late spring/summer. Stay tuned!

...and that's a wrap to our VERY busy summer, '24! 🤍 We look forward to the return of routine and transitioning to cooler mornings, where our pups will find an abundance of energy and we see some returning friends to our yard.
