JDPH is a western riding barn. We offer full indoor board, western riding lessons (currently only on the riders own horse) both on and off the property. BOARD
We have a total of 18 box stalls, a 60'x120' indoor riding arena, a large outdoor sand riding pen, as well as a 60' round pen. All horses are turned out in the morning
on to separated pastures (no more than four per pasture) with access to lush grass and fresh water. Basic blanketing is provided (winter and rain), and the horses are fed grain AM and/or PM (provided by owner) based on the owners desired schedule. Oral medications can be administered if applicable at additional cost. The horses are then brought back inside in the evening for the night. There is plenty of room to store tack on site, and boarders have access to the facility and riding areas at any time of the day. Boarders are free to use their own farrier and vet. We book a day for our farrier and vet and let everyone know so that they can split the call fee, otherwise boarders will book their own appointments. LESSONS
As previously mentioned, we currently offer off/on site western lessons on the riders own horse, as we currently do not have a suitable lesson horse, just competition horses. If we can not provide what you are looking for in lessons, we are more than happy to help line you up with a coach that suits your interest!
