Throwing this out there for a client who needs to re-home her two beautiful dogs who have been here many times and we hope will continue to come..

REHOME OR FOSTER
Due to a death in the family and with a broken heart I have made the extremely difficult
decision to rehome my two of my three dogs: Hank and Bruins.
Hank (the T ank) is my 3 year old Labrador/Dane cross who is fully vaccinated. He is a
gentle giant but can be somewhat reactive in certain situations. He is friendly but
because of his size can also be intimidating. Hank loves the outdoors, especially
snow. He likes the water but is not so keen on actually swimming. In truth, because
he’s so tall the water has to be really deep inorder for him to swim. Hank has amazing
hearing and is a great watch dog. You will definitely know if there is someone or
something close by.
Bruins also known as “B” is a purebred Golden Retriever (not registered) who will be 2
years old on October 8th. He is also fully vaccinated. Bruins is a very energetic dog
who lives for chasing his ball whether on land or in the water or in your house if he can
convince you to play with him. He is very affectionate and is very sensitive and can be
quite the chatterbox when he wants attention. If allowed he will sit on your lap and give
you the best cuddles.
These two have been together since we first got Bruins as a pup in Dec 2022 and are
best buddies so must be rehomed together. They need a home that has lots of space
for them to roam, ideally acreage, a farm or a large fenced yard where they can run
and play freely. They love going on long hikes. Hank likes to plunk himself down on
your couch or sleep on the floor at the foot of your bed. Bruins will sleep anywhere but
will usually ends up close to Hank. Bruins will follow Hank’s lead so if Hank barks at
something Bruins will sometimes join in so he’s not left out.
They are both amazing dogs in their own right and this is a very emotional and difficult
decision for me. There is lots more to tell you about these two so if you are seriously
interested in fostering or adopting these wonderful dogs, please contact me for more
information. I can also provide the name of our Vet if you wish to contact her as well.
Hank and Bruins have attended the Penticton Pet Resort several times within the last 8
months and I’m sure the staff will be willing and able to give you some other insights
into their personalities.
