We've been busy bee's working on our garden, but we wanted to take some time and send a huge thank you to everyone who visited our plant sale this year!🌱
We are overwhelmed with how much support we recieved in our second year and we are very grateful to have seen so many return customers as well as all the new ones who said they would be back next year.
We're already looking forward to what next year will bring for us and we hope to see you back!☀️

Giant Dalia's grow beautiful large flowers (between 4-6") and can present double, even triple layers of petals!
Flowers can be harvested in the summer through to the fall and are great for attracting pollinators.🐝💐
We will have a mix of colours available at our upcoming plant sale.

Tomato seedlings as far as the eye can see!🤩🍅
We've added new varieties to our sale this year; some new cherry and slicers to try, as well as a saladette called 'Yellow Pear'. Roma's are back again this year, too.

We're so excited to have flowers available at this year's plant sale!🌱

Soil blocks for the win!🙌
These soil blocks have been working tremendously so far for us. Although they take a bit more time to prepare compared to the "72 cell" trays, the results speak for themselves.💯
Not only do the soil blocks provide more space for roots to grow, but there is significantly less transplant shock when potting up or direct planting as you're not needing to "poke and prod" them to remove them from the trays.

We have emerged from our winter slumber!❄
Although the snow and cold weather is still upon us, we are already prepping for our 2022 seedling sale and growing season! Seeds are here and we are so excited for what this year has in store. We had some great suggestions from last year's sale and have added a few more goodies to the list. 🌱🌼

Cayenne overload!🌶💥

The peppers are in full force! We had a big harvest of cayenne this past weekend and we loaded them all up in the dehydrator.
Really looking forward to having some home made cayenne pepper in the kitchen this year!🙌

Hello friends! We are back in action after a much needed break. We hope everyone has been doing well with their gardens so far this year!☀️
After some discussion, we decided we needed to take a step back from things a little bit. We are so happy with the progress we've made this year, but with both of us working full-time, we need to be realistic with what we can accomplish in the time we have(and also what our mortal bodies can handle😅)
That being said, we will not be opening our market stand this year, unfortunately. Getting our infrastructure nailed down is our top priority so we can start strong with our season in the spring.🌷
We'll be back to our regular posting schedule so stay tuned for updates on HomeGrowin'!🌱

Trying out a modular mobile trellis system this year! Long lasting, quick to set up and relocate depending on which crops you have on the grow🌱

The Black Hungarian has beautiful purple flowers and the peppers are equally stunning! 💜

We're looking forward to adding these to our salsas this year. Black Hungarians are a sweet AND hot pepper(about the same heat as a jalapeno). Once they're ripen, the peppers will go from a dark purple/black hue to a scarlet red🌶
