Hello December - AKA the Busiest Month for everyone!

I really do hate to add onto your already stressful and busy month, but here are a few notices that I need to share with you all.

Good News Notices first - Both Tincap & Perth have appointment openings before Christmas!

Neutral New Next - Bad weather, sickness, & power outages are a winter reality we can't control. In the case of those things happening, we will give you as much notice as possible that we will need to reschedule - we are politely asking you give us that same curtesy :) Ideally, we get 24 hours or more notice if you are not able to make your appointment time, but any notice is better than a No Show.

Necessary News Notice - As of January 1st, 2025 we will be increasing the prices on grooming and nail appointments.

Holidays - Groomers have booked off different days in 2025 to accommodate holidays and family events - This is your reminder that you should book your next grooming appointment ahead of time. Or book all of your 2025 grooming needs if you have limited dates and times that will work for you (many of you already have, thank you!)

Attention - I have noticed a small issue with the Facebook messages having a "Book Now" option. We are not set up to take online bookings.

I will be working on removing that option from Facebook as soon as I figure out how to do it lol

Until then, please call, email or message and someone will work with you to find the best option to book your dog(s) into.

As of Wednesday, May 22nd, the following days have openings

PERTH - Tuesday, May 28th, Thursday, May 30th, & SATURDAY June 1st! Those Saturday spots book fast! - Reminder we have Gail coming to Perth on that Saturday if you need your CAT groomed.

TINCAP - YIKES! Depending on size and hair type, there are a limited number of spots before the middle of June!

Friendly reminder that you wouldn't have to worry about getting the best spot for you and your pup if you pre-booked for the year or at the least for your next appointment. :)

I hate to even mention it while we are all sweating so much this last few days - BUT some of our long term clients have *already* booked their prime Christmas spots!

It was well past time for the sign in Tincap to get a touch up - where has the time gone?!

Originally, orange vinyl, now, hand painted orange letters. The blue seems to be able to handle the direct sunlight a lot better than the orange.

But don't look too close - I never said I was great at painting lol 😆 The things us business owners are willing to do to keep expenses down (ask me about learning how to service the clippers and blasters myself, that was scarier than standing on a ladder painting letters!)

Here's to another 10+ years of this sign being out in the sunshine 🌞

I want to see how many of you know that we offer Cat Grooming with our experienced groomer - Gail Webster!

Gail has been traveling to the Tincap location for the past several months to groom smaller sized dogs and cats.

We are now excited to announce that Gail will be traveling to PERTH on SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST to offer CAT GROOMING* out of the Perth location.

Did you also know that Gail shows Yorkshire Terriers? All of the groomers working out of the shops are wonderful ladies, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them all - with that said, we all have a breed or two that are a little closer to our hearts. For Gail, it is obviously Yorkshires!

*If you would like to get your little dog booked in with her, we can arrange that as well :D

Happy Easter from all of us at Woofs & Waggs!

Your pups are sweet enough, so make sure they don't get into any chocolate this weekend!

If you are doing an egg hunt be sure you know that all the eggs have been collected before allowing your dogs into the area you have hidden them in.

If you have any doubt if they can reach the stash of goodies, put them up higher, or in the cupboard, or somewhere else safe (if you are like me, you might find those Christmas gifts you put somewhere "safe" LOL oops)

Did you know you can book ahead if you know there is a special event or reason you want to have your pup looking their best for?

Will you be away at the cottage this summer and want to make sure your dog's undercoat is fully brushed out before they start to go swimming - book ahead!

Family photos being done this fall? - Better get booked in!

Heck, we will even book your Christmas appointment now if you want us to.

Or book ahead solely for the peace of mind of knowing it is one less thing you have to think about. :)
