These cat macarons were definitely the cutest item in the little gluten free birthday goodie box that I put together today; Also pictured: maple pecan cookies, maple bourbon tarts (the birthday girl is a maple lover) and Nutella marshmallows. Cat loving Diana approves!

Serving floral fantasy JVN cherry pie realness, honey! Can you believe?
If I need my faith in humanity restored (and let's face it, these days, who doesn't?), I need look no further than a few episodes of QE. In honour of the upcoming 5th season of Q***r Eye, I've decided a pie art series is on order ...I might be just a little excited!
First up, the AMAZING Jonathan Van Ness. As well as making people more beautiful inside and out as a member of the Q***r Eye team, JVN is also a celebrated author, comedian, podcast host, coffee dance prodigy, Emmy nominated host of Gay of Thrones, amateur gymnast and figure skater, and a prominent and influential voice in this gorgeous gender revolution we are finally having. And that's just the tip of the stunning iceberg.

Cupcakes for a purple loving Greek mythology enthusiast of a birthday girl.
I am generally not much of a painter but I finally took the opportunity to really try out the new sugar prism paints I got for Christmas. I Love, Love, LOVE how the paints work and move and they smell and taste really nice too. I highly recommend them to any artistically inclined bakers out there.
I hope the birthday girl enjoyed sharing and eating these as much as I enjoyed making them. ⚡️🦉🌾☀️🔥🌙🍷

Today I had the pleasure of making these puppy portraits cupcakes of the most adorable golden doodle named Lily. I’ve never met this gorgeous girl but I’m totally in love. Those eyes!
A very happy birthday goes out to both this pups lucky owners. 🐶🧁🎉

Behold: the moose milk donut!
Creamy vanilla coffee custard cream with whiskey, rum, Kahlua and just a hint of nutmeg. This baby is also topped with a whiskey coffee glaze. She’s wickedly delicious and packs a punch. If you’re not familiar with this seasonal drink, it’s a long-standing traditional holiday beverage of the CAF and you need it in your life! 😋

Last baking day in Petawawa before the Christmas break. Today I made cinnamon buns which made the house smell AHHH-mazing and just like Christmas morning.
I also made some fun festive cupcakes.
I have a few more of these cuties available. $20/dozen.

Who else always always got a clementine in their stocking? Just peeling one smells like Christmas to me. For that reason clementine meringue was a must for this weeksChristmas donut line up.

Introducing a new festive flavour Hot chocolate! It’s a chocolate mud cake donut covered in Nana Brown’s secret recipe fudge icing and topped with a big ol’ homemade marshmallow.
This donut was the genius suggestion from my darling friend Val. Thanks Val!

It’s looking deliciously Christmassy around here!
$16/8 donut mixed variety box. All boxes mixed. Today’s varieties are: white chocolate candy cane, old fashioned sour cream, Dutch apple pie, egg nog cream, hot chocolate and Christmas sprinkle (the doh!nut has been given a Christmas green make over).
