The flight was booked for December 23rd. The day came and transportation to the airport was hindered by road construction in Mexico... Normally a 1 hour drive turned into a 6 hour drive. They made it to the airport and boarded the airplane. Unfortunately the roadblocks weren't finished yet. With the storm in Canada and airplane mechanical issues the flight was delayed and they had to depart the plane and slept in the airport until the issue was fixed. 17 hours later they reboarded a new plane and were off.

At the end of November early December we had an idea. Maybe WestJet could help transport our Samson home as we had quite a few roadblocks and were feeling quite discouraged. Angela travelled with them a lot and had accumulated $500 in travel rewards so we figured they might be able to help and answer our Christmas Wish. Several people shared the request but it went unanswered.

In the begining Samson was my friend Angela Haaks Emotional support dog. They travelled to Mexico and to several places around Canada. Unfortunately Samsons mommy passed away in Mexico. This left our poor fur baby stuck.
