Bailey is showing signs of pregnancy and we can’t wait to see what she produces with Riddick at the end of July in her third and final litter ❤️❤️. If you have a Bailey puppy you know just how amazing and special her offspring are ❤️

Bailey (CKC GCH Headline's Poester Child) has been bred to Riddick (AKC CH CKC GCH Bold Legends Chronicles of Riddick) for an all colour litter due July 30th. Both parents have clear genetic panels, OFA hips, elbows, patella and CEAR complete.

This is too funny not to post.. Bailey is finally being bred to Riddick after postponing this litter TWICE now... she's ready to take matters into her own hands! They have already successfully tied... but she wants more.. lol
This litter should be born the last week of July and ready for homes end of September and we have a couple spots on our list available if interested 😁

Ever wonder what to do with dog ribbons that pile up? Why not combine your ribbons to make one statement piece that can capture a year of showing? I’m beyond thrilled with what I’ve created for Grey, Bailey, and Riddick and have had so much fun making them that I would be happy to take on projects for others at a very reasonable price. At minimum, I would need 18 flat ribbons and ideally one or two rosettes (if you don’t have rosettes we could still make something work). Feel free to message me if you are interested 🙂

I had so much fun making Riddick’s ribbon yesterday that I took the challenge to do Bailey’s year of showing that consisted primarily of Best of Opposites and Selects… let me tell you.. this colour scheme was something else to work with and the group 3 didn’t help! But overall thrilled with the results!!

Breeding is not for the faint of heart. Yesterday, I took Riggs to the vet as she was not eating well and acting lethargic at 6 weeks pregnant and just entering her third trimester. Blood tests showed an abnormally high white blood cell count and a clear indication of pancreatitis. With concern, we rushed to a specialist vet in Toronto to take further tests and get answers. It was found that there was free fluid in her abdomen and puppies’ heart beats were fading. A sample of the fluid was full of bacteria, she was septic. Her uterus had ruptured due to what seems to be closed Pyometra during pregnancy. It’s with the heaviest heart that I said goodbye to Riggs late into the night. Everything just happened so fast and I still have not fully processed the loss. I’m forever grateful for the short time I had with this beautiful and quirky girl.

So beyond excited to share that we have a confirmed pregnancy between Riggs and Riddick!! I am forever grateful for Kim Laird Gardner and Joe Prescott for trusting me with these stunning dogs and their pedigrees.
