I really needed to share this company. I got the pleasure of meeting them when I did pet fest. I bought a few bags. They're treats were absolutely amazing. My dogs loved all of it. They're made with all natural ingredients.

One of my favorite weekend moments was walking down the gravel path with loki, letting him run and knowing he'd come back.
A lot of people say he was going to hard to train being a Bully husky mix...
Ohhh he was.. and still is. He's only 16 months old. Still lots to go but he definitely loves his mommy 🥰❤️

We had him around the camp fire, swimming, four wheelers, sea doos in the water making noise, cutting wood and around dogs smaller than his head and he handled it all amazingly. Such a great boy.

So my boys were enter into their calendar last year. Unfortunately I wasnt able to get lokis calendar in time but now they've also been put into their search and find activity book too.
Soooo cute.
Nitros picture was at the cottage on the dock, living his best life. He loves laying on the rock soaking in the sun.

Lokis was him laying on the floor at home being his normal silly self.

Good afternoon, everyone.
I am close tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I'll be open on Tuesday again. There are many appointments available in the coming weeks.
After the long weekend, I'm sure your doggies might need a little clean up if you're gone away to the cottage or camping, etc.
Send me a message, text message, or give me a call to set up an appointment.

Yes, you must make an appointment, I do take walk ins at times but I work on my own so if I'm already working on a client, or booked up, it does make it a little more difficult to take the walk in.

Also, with summer here and living 5 minutes from work, I do like to spend time at home with the kids, but I can also get changed and be at work within 5-10 minutes. This means that even if I'm not there, don't hesitate to call as I can be there within a few minutes.

Kaiden. We went a little shorer than usual because he's been having some health issues now that he's older. Sitting still for his brushing isn't always a great experience for older dogs.
As they older sometimes we need to go a little shorter for their comfort too.

I still have quite a few appointments available in the up coming weeks. Make sure to get your spot booked before it's all booked up.
With this hot weather I'm sure our doggies would love to get cleaned up.
Best part is that if they get shorter for summer it should last right into almost fall weather, being a great time for a bath and clean up to work into fluffy clips.

As I know some people like their dogs long for fall and winter, please remember that they will still need grooming appointments in order to keep their hair maintained.
When there is chunks and knots it doesn't keep them as warm. It's like wearing a holy sweater compared to a nice comfy soft warm sweater.

Today with the heat, I decided to close up shop for the afternoon.
Remember that this heat isn't great for our animals. They feel it just as much or even more than we do.
Once you put them inside with a hot dryer the temperature rises even more. At this time I don't have AC set up. We are currently thinking of ideas for this set up.
But I did have AC at our old shop. Even with the AC, there were days we would need to shut down because the hot air from the dryers running all day would still over power the AC at times.
Please respect any groomers that decide to shut down early due to weather. They're only doing it for the safety of the animals and themselves. No one wants heat stroke and heat stroke can be extremely dangerous to animals. It can change to life threatening with in minutes.

Unfortunately, I was closed today. My daughter had a fainting spell, as she passed out and fell she also hit her head off a table. We had a very long night at the hospital. She got a clean bill of health except a concussion.
I will be back tomorrow.
Open for 9 am.
With it being summer I prefer to schedule all the appointments ahead of time because of course if I'm done early and no calls I love to take the kids out to the beach or walk etc.
They're only out of school for 2 months. Might as well make the most of it while we can.
