How young can you start your pup or kitten on
a raw diet? You can start puppies and kittens
at anytime! Raw feeding breeders start weaning to raw at 3 weeks of age. New puppies can start right when you bring them home

Fresh food has lots of moisture. This helps
keep your pet hydrated. Kibble is dry and has
a lot of salt. This requires dogs and cats to
drink a lot of water to digest kibble!

Heronview uses food that is meant for human
consumption sourced from local farms and
provincial abattoirs that are government
inspected. We do import some items we
cannot source in Canada, such as Kangaroo,
which comes from Australia and Salmon comes
from BC. Both are from Federal facilities.
We buy antibiotic and hormone free meats.
The product is so good we eat the same
meats ourselves!

"When we discovered Heronview, we realized
that raw feeding does not have to be pricy. We
love the fact that you can buy a variety of
meats packed in small amounts. One day Ellie
will have ground chicken with bone, offal and
tripe, the next she will get game, a bit of
tongue, half a chicken carcass, some offal and
tripe, then the day after it will be time for beef.
