We issue this statement in response to baseless allegations made by a client who has misrepresented the events and facts pertaining to her dog. As evidenced in the post, we have provided images of the dog on the day of its departure as well the condition of the dog once taken home and the owner ripping all the scabs off the dogs face which im sure took flesh with it. Additionally, we have included correspondence with the owner on the day the dog escaped from its crate, as documented in our daily video wellness checks. Subsequent to this incident, we maintained communication with the owner regarding the dog’s condition, a practice we adhere to on a daily basis.

It remains unclear as to the reasons behind the client’s decision to prematurely remove scabs from the dog’s face for public display, particularly when the dog was healing and the marks we now becoming faintly visible. The client was presented a one hour handover session at our facility to which after the handover session she was able to check her dog from top to bottom read our waiver, which is standard practice and raise concerns or simply not sign the waiver. The client was very satisfied not only with the training, but of the condition of the dog healing, and presented us alcoholic beverages from her trip that she brought back for us.

It is disheartening to see what somebody can do to convince social media of the events that never took place, the pictures that she took at her home, and the baseless lies she has spread. The client also makes note the dog lost weight, but she had also mentioned the dog was underweight prior to coming into the program, and the reason she went home with almost the same amount of food she came in with is because we had switched the dogs food to a higher fat content that was no charge for the client as we wanted to take care of Roma.

We appreciate the people that can see through the weeds and know this was a falsified story for some publicity that is sickening and disheartening . We have also contacted the proper channels on our end to make sure people like this individual do not post incorrect information when they have mutilated their own dogs scabs off.

The problem nowadays is that everybody’s a dog trainer. People who have grown up with dogs…..they are dog trainers. People who have worked at dog grooming salons…. they are now dog trainers. People who love dogs….. they are dog trainers. Things you see being done online especially social media the film has been cut 10 times to get the perfect 20 seconds to sell you on the program. These types of videos are making you feel great, a false sense of hope, and putting expectations in your mind instead of actually assessing the dog you have. You cannot become a dog trainer in four hours or months. Just because you babysit dogs and love dogs does not mean your a dog trainer. You’re not a dog trainer! Your a dog lover and we appreciate you for loving Dogs. The industry has become very vulnerable with all of these “dog trainers.” Over the past couple years we have seen the outcomes with what these “dog trainers” have done to these dogs. People have reached out to us in dire need of actual real training from the previous “dog trainer” resulting in the damage emotionally and physically from the improper use of tools, motivation and guidance that have created bigger issues than what they started with. As it says….. training does not start when problems occur, it starts from day one. we have a obligation as dog owners to give our dogs, structure and guidance to be the best they can be but as well to be the best we can be for them. Leadership is a big thing amongst dog ownership. When we fail as dog owners to provide leadership, we end up with a lot of problems. That’s the point we scratch our heads and ask ourselves why we were in this position. we have to think back to what we have done, how we have raised our dog and what guidance and boundaries we have put into place in order to get the best results.
