The facility boasts a quiet atmosphere with a strong focus on quality of care for our horses and rider development geared towards the show ring, all while maintaining a positive team atmosphere for riders and parents at Belle Wood

Belle Wood is located directly off Hwy 7 on the corner of the 6th Concession in the quiet hamlet of Greenwood, Ontario. The stables are situated on 56 acres developed

for your enjoyment with large paddocks with run in shelters along with acres of trail riding surrounding the stable for clients to enjoy. Our owners and staff are well trained with the knowledge of care for horses and take a proactive approach with safety for the horses, boarders and students. Owners reside on property 24/7 and are always accessible

**Quiet Lesson Program limited to Sunday and Monday evenings allow Show Team riders access to the Indoor Riding during winter month**

Meet your March Break Camp Coach & Assistant Instructor!

Belinda Logan, owner of Belle Wood, has a wealth of experience from years of successfully coaching kids in the hunter/jumper world. Belinda has done a little bit of everything with her students- from schooling shows to the A Circuit and from WEC Ohio to Florida. Belinda’s favourite part of coaching is creating perfection through maintaining a rhythm and keeping straightness through all of the aids while her students have fun and acheive their goals.

Kate Briggs has an abundance of experience in the equine industry as Belle Wood’s previous barn manager and head groom during our boarding and showing years. Kate personally is passionate about proper flatting foundation at all levels of riding and the biomechanics behind proper flatting techniques. Kate enjoys teaching and sharing the curriculum in the Equine Canada Rider Level program with students.

Congratulations to Annabelle on her continued part-board of Harvey aka BW Seal the Deal! Annabelle has been part-boarding Harvey since the day we got him as a 3 year old in 2020 and riding at Belle Wood for over 10 years. Annabelle’s main goals with Harvey have been bringing him along and creating a bond with him, both of which she has been very successful with.

Horseback riding and spending time with friends outside is the BEST way to spend your break! 🐴🙌

March 10th-14th

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

$645.00 plus HST for the week

This week will be dedicated to learning new skills both on the horse and off, based on the Equestrian Canada Rider Level Program. Suitable for riders who are Beginner Walk/Trot to jumping 18”.

Brrrr! It’s cold out there! Not sure how to stay warm for the winter? Follow our winter riding hacks! 👇

❄️ Keep your hands warm! Get lined riding gloves and hot packs to keep your fingers from freezing 🥶

❄️Get winter riding pants! Winter breeches can be a huge game changer in keeping you comfortable!

❄️Bring a hot drink OR make one in the heated lounge ☕️ (Coffee & Hot Chocolate bar generously put together by our show team 🩵)

❄️ Wear wool! Wool based socks and sweaters will keep you warm!

❄️Layer up! Layers are great for keeping you warm in the barn and also from over-heating while you ride. A great layer addition is a warm vest!
