For the week of January 12, 2026

This week we are featuring a handsome boy currently in foster care. Gandalf / Bruno is approximately 4 years old and is neutered. He is a short hair grey/brown tabby and white. Gandalf / Bruno may be a cat, but he will follow you around like a puppy dog! He is an early riser who loves belly rubs and nap-trapping you. He’s even learned some tricks to impress you! Gandalf / Bruno is happiest being the only cat and soaking up 100% of your attention. He is adaptive to new environments and travels well but does show some separation anxiety being away from his people. He would love to find his forever family.

For the week of January 5, 2026

Starting out the year we are featuring a sweet bonded pair of kittens - Gwendolyn (left) and Gillian (right). These 7 month old kittens were originally found in a barn at Gillingham Brewing and they were very feral. When they came to the LHS they learned to interact well with other cats but struggled with human connection so they went to a wonderful foster family that helped them flourish! They would be happiest in a quiet and peaceful home and must be adopted together as they are bonded. They still do well with other cats. Gwendolyn and Gillian both love sunbeams, ribbons, toys, lasers and - of course - treats!

For the week of December 29, 2025

To close out the year we are featuring Kedi, a black and white short hair cat who is approximately 2 years old. Kedi arrived at the shelter with a litter of kittens but she's since been spayed and is ready to find her forever home. Kedi is a very sweet girl and would make a lovely pet.

Sweet Diesel who we posted at the beginning of the month is still looking for his forever home. Here is a snippet of his bio:

For the week of December 22, 2025

Anyone craving a sweet treat? Creamy Delight is this week's featured cat and she is as sweet as her name. She is approximately 2-3 years old and is spayed. Creamy Delight is a short hair calico. She is very affectionate with people and though she hasn't been fully tested with other cats, she doesn't seem to mind them in her proximity.

We really are fortunate this season! Debbie of Parry's Paws & Claws donated a whopping 250 handmade catnip toys! We didn't even get a chance to unpack them before someone jumped in to play. Thank you Debbie for donating and Tanya for dropping them off! 💕

Amanda and Joe arrived again this year with a car filled with goodies, toys, treats, food and beds!
Big Whiskers couldn’t wait til Christmas and dug through the box to find her favourite toy and even old Molly got up off her bed to get in on the action
And of course Hurry is receiving our guests and thanking Amanda and Joe for their incredible generosity 🎅

Big thanks to the CIP learning strategies / career exploration class at PECI for their donation. These beautiful baskets were filled with beds, blankets, treats and toys for our shelter cats to enjoy. We are so appreciative! Thank you!

For the week of December 15, 2025 (a few days late!)

This week we are featuring Shepurra, an absolutely sweet 5 month old tabby short hair. She was recently spayed and ready for her new home. Shepurra is a lovely girl who loves to roll around and show off her cuteness. She is great with other cats and has the softest fur around! See the comments for Shepurra showing off biiiiig stretches
