For the week of March 3, 2025

Sam was originally found as a stray around Highway 49 and was brought in to our care. We estimate he is approximately 2 years old and he is neutered. Sam is very shy and needs a patient owner to help him conquer his fears - thankfully he is very food motivated and wet food and temptations help to bring him around. Once he knows you, he is a very sweet boy and will reward you with lots of love. Sam is a short hair orange tabby and white cat with incredible golden eyes.

For the week of February 24, 2025

Leroy is a very handsome short hair black and white cat who is looking to find his forever home. He is approximately 4 years old and is neutered. While shy at first, he is a very loving cat once he gets to know you. With an owner with a bit of patience, he would make a wonderful companion. Leroy has also done well with other cats.

For the week of February 17, 2025

This week we are featuring Nero, a handsome short hair black cat who is approximately a year and a half old. He is neutered. We originally thought Nero might be a bit feral but he has proven to be a very sweet cat who enjoys being pet. We would recommend a very slow and controlled introduction to any other cats in the home.

FOUND: male orange tabby short hair. Not microchipped but he is neutered. He arrived at a home on Mowbray Road to get some shelter from the storm and a kind person took him in. He appears young and friendly though on the thin side and was very hungry. Please call to claim.

Foster kittens available soon! Soren (male, short hair) and Nina (female, medium hair) are 8 month old siblings who we would love to see adopted together. They also seem to get along well with other cats. Soren is a bit shy and Nina is the snugglier of the two. They have appointments next week to be fixed then they will be ready for their new home! For the week of February 10, 2025

This week we are featuring Chance, a short hair grey and white cat who is approximately 2 years old. He is neutered. Chance was in very rough shape when he was taken in by a kind member of the community. His feet were raw and infected but he received excellent medical care and is now all healed up. Chance has been aggressive towards other female cats but seems to be ok with male cats. When it comes to people he is very friendly and affectionate. He loves to play and wands and cuddle sticks are his favourite. Chance also loves food, treats and catnip.

For the week of February 3, 2025

It's pretty obvious how Fluffy got her name but it's not obvious to us why she's still at the shelter! Fluffy is a female long hair tabby who is approximately a year old and is spayed. We think she would do well in a home with other cats - or on her own - and she has a sweet and playful personality. Fluffy is always up for a game, or a cuddle, and we think she would make a great pet.

UPDATE: since Fluffy has been a popular post, just wanted to update that she has an adoption pending. Thanks for all your likes, comments and shares!

Anyone love giving belly rubs? If so, Hopper might be the cat for you! This sweet girl is between 1-2 years and has already been a mama but has since been spayed. Hopper is a short hair tabby who is a very sweet girl looking to find her forever home. She seems to get along fine with other cats.

The cats miss the Catio in the winter months but love their short visits in the snow 🩵

For the week of January 20, 2025

This week we are featuring Charlotte, a female short hair calico who is approximately 10 years old. She is spayed. Charlotte is looking for a quiet home with no other cats. She will hide when she is scared (and she is a good hider!) but when she is with someone she trusts she is a real love-bug and enjoys being a lap cat.

Wally (DMH) black male and Wilma (DSH) black female are recently spayed and neutered 5-6 month old kittens in need of a warm barn to live happily.

They are very afraid of humans and have not acclimated well to the indoor lifestyle.
