The night we lost Piper the first and only call I could make was to my Best Friend that loved Piper as much as we did/do, I honestly don’t know who cried harder but today she made me ugly cry again by gifting us this beautiful painting of our sweet Baby Girl.
Piper loved you so much Caleigh Jacq as do we 🖤

*Ace does not and likely will not hunt, looking for a pet home (he prefers one with a couch or bed to cuddle on)*
We are in no rush to re home as we want to find him the PERFECT family and home.
Candidates will have had experience with the breed (hound(s), a good knowledge of the needs and requirements of a Bluetick (hound), at least 19 years of age or older (to sign our contract), and a current or Veterinary Clinic used in the past that can provide a Veterinary Reference.
We are located in Marysville ON.

These three have definitely been our saving grace after the tragic loss of Piper.
The night that we found her has haunted us on a daily and a nightly bases. I remember holding her limp in my arms telling my Husband I would never hunt or run the Dogs again because I couldn’t go through this heartache again. We had been out on the three wheeler exercising (something we did on an almost daily bases and I thank God every day that we had the tracking collars on just in case they caught a scent, otherwise we would have never found her or had closure).
My Dad said something that has stuck with me that I will never forget, he said that I couldn’t do that to Nell because she lives to run and Piper would not want me to stop or take Nell’s passion away from her.
Seeing Nell so heartbroken and completely lost shattered us. We were so petrified to let her to far out of our sight. Despite what I had said I hunted through the tears and let Nell run, thank goodness for my Parents Dog Tug for sticking with her running, as well as our amazing Piper’s Ridge Family members for bringing their sweet Babies down to hunt with us and run with Nell. After seeing how happy Nell was again getting to do what she loved we decided somehow we had to find her another running partner (knowing said Dog would NEVER replace Piper for Nell or our selves but maybe by Gods grace could give her the companionship, comfort and partnership she had so badly been missing) that’s when I believe Piper answered our prayers and a post that we will forever be thankful for was sent to us, Sadie was looking for her forever home. I went back and forth for days weighing the pros and cons of trying to add another companion to Nell’s life when her heart was still so fragile and Sadie already being almost a year old (what if they didn’t get along, what if Nell thought I was trying to replace her Mom, what if Sadie didn’t like us, what if she had no interest in running with Nell…. There seem to be many more doubts/ cons then pros) after many days and discussing it at length with many Family members we decided to message her Owner to first see if she was even still available for adoption and she was. I spoke with her Owner for many hours and days (we are actually still in contact, she is wonderful!)
The heartbreaking part about getting Sadie was the night that I went to pick her up I got home to find out Jimmy had passed away. I right away thought that we had made the wrong decision but the minute that Nell met Sadie it was love at first sight and they have been inseparable since. We have had many tears and heartbreaks in the past year but are so grateful to once again have some joy back in our lives and it is all thanks to these three sweethearts.

You were our sweetest gift from the moment you were born, even though when Daddy picked you he thought you were a boy and you wore a green collar and your name was tank for one whole day lol (totally my bad 🤦🏻‍♀️😂)
You are one of the greatest hunters we have ever had and have taught Sadie most of what you know 🖤

Our sweet Baby Girl’s second due date was today and we were patiently awaiting the birth of eight precious Babies that gave Piper and Jimmy the title of Mommy and Daddy 🖤

(Rebecca’s forever home has been found, thank you everyone for all the shares 💜)

Due to no fault for her own our Sweet Rebecca is in need of her forever home. 🏡

Her current owner is a personal Friend of ours and is looking to put Rebecca’s needs and best interests ahead of theirs and for that we are truly thankful!

Rebecca is spayed, currently UTD on her Vaccines including Kennel Cough, house and crate trained, and has attended Doggy Day care regularly. Rebecca is in need of a Family to provide her with the proper stimulation and able to exert her energy daily as her energy level is high.

Rebecca is a Benelli x Duke Baby from 2021 and is a huge cuddle bug! She is good with other Dogs, Cats and Children.
