We want to thank everyone who has donated items to our yard sale next Saturday so far. We also want to send a shout out to a young boy who dug into his piggy bank to give us our first cash donation towards our fundraiser .

We do still need baked goods and plants, please message us if you would like to donate. 🙂

If you can't make it to our sale next weekend, but are getting yard sale fever, stop in to Sharon St John United Church Hall this Saturday for Sharon St John church's yard sale, bean and brown bread sale and BBQ. They graciously allow us to use their facility every year for our sale and are very good to us!

PS it's totally cool to come to both sales!

Do you need a new queen of your household?
Beckett might be the answer to all you have been hoping for!
She is a great blend of affectionate and playful.
She is enthusiastic to greet you. If you talk to her, she will answer you, and you can have a whole back and forth conversation.
Once she gets into a snuggle, she rolls on her back and wants her tummy rubbed.

She is nearing 6 months.
She would do best with a playmate. She plays very well with other male cats as she is a flirt.
She is very socially curious and likes to be where the action is.
Do you have teenagers you wish would wake up quicker in the morning? Beckett may be your solution as she is determined to have you play with her bell toy at 6am precisely. If you do not play, she continues ringing and playing, ensuring you do not snooze until you play with her for a full 5 min.
She prefers to be picked up and carted around the house, especially if you will rub her tummy.
Baby Beckett has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, has been spayed, parasite-treated and will be vaccinated before she goes to her new home.

This is 'Beckett'. She is showing us how she is recognizing Tartan Day on April 6 wearing her Canadian Tartan fascinator.
Beckett would like to invite all the pets to come to Global Petfood in Stellarton to get a picture with the Easter Bunny Sunday from 11am to 2pm. Fill out an application to adopt Beckett while you are there.

It's that time of year where we struggle to fundraise with the colder temperatures and snowstorms that seem to hit every other day. Thankfully, Global Pet Foods Pictou County - Stellarton has chosen Carma Pictou County Chapter as the recipient of their 'Show us your heart' campaign this year! This money will make such a difference in the cats, the individuals we help, and our volunteers hearts.

Their campaign finishes Feb 26th so stop by and get your furry friend a treat, and let the cashier know you want to show the community cats your heart with a donation! Global Pet foods matches all donations!

We need help! We are finding it harder and harder to find time to get everything done that needs to be done to ensure that the community cats live their best lives.

We need new volunteers to help with every aspect you can think of: fundraising (especially ticket sellers), trapping, book keeping, fostering, taking cats to and from vet appointments, delivering foods and supplies to fosters, feeding at our food stations, etc.

Please message us and we will send you a volunteer application.

Please note: trapping is a much different pace in the colder months. We strategically plan as many aspects of our chapter as we can to ensure as much success as possible.

Cookie has been adopted !! Happy life sweet girl ♥

**NOTICE** Due to an overwhelming response, adoption applications for Cookie are are now closed . Our coordinator has a big job reviewing applications & checking references to match this special little girl with her forever family . Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in Cookie & please continue to watch our page for future adoptables.

She was trapped outside in this fierce cold and is now loving the inside life and having soft blankets to sleep on!
She would do best with a playmate. She plays very well with other cats and works well to woo the ones whom are cranky.
She is very socially curious, so we suspect she would do well with a dog as well! She carries on with her quiet Cookie-Catter Chatter to the birds outside and to the cats and people in the house.

Our fabulous CARMA friend Valerie has given the Community Cats a wonderful Christmas gift !
The $1000.00 she raised from selling her amazing cat toys will most certainly help provide the necessities of winter for them .

**HOME FOR CHRISTMAS**
Scallop has been adopted to a family with a little girl who showed him patience and truly understood he needed a little time to warm up (he had never met a child before). His name will be Bruce (decided by Lily) and he will have a big cat sister they call Cream who loves to play.
Great thanks to all of those who got on board to spread the word. You are the reason we connect these community cats to fantastic homes.
