Sharing a memorial of sorts that I finally made for myself. I knew I wanted to do something special with the tail hair from my gelding Magic I lost a few years ago.

Came up with the idea to make a leather hat band with an inlaid braid. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

The real artist here is who made me this beautiful custom hat for me to put it on.

Sadie of course needed to see what I was up to ☺️

Most of my working hours are between 8-11pm and I enjoy my late evenings working in my shop.

This is a poem I have always loved. I think it does a great job of capturing how special our pets are to us, and the emotions we feel when we lose them. This poem was actually the inspiration when I designed the logo for T lazy S pet memorial and I send a copy of it home with every pet I take care of 💛
