I had some camera issues and didn’t get a proper video/photo but I was lucky to recover a couple of snaps of this special moment. Our granddaughter Macy is now our official youngest student that Diesel carefully packed for her first lesson riding “by myself “ 💖 I am so proud of both of them!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joyce Rehms for the opportunity to train and show her sweet mare “Reyni”. Last weekend we went to a schooling show at The Xibition for our first time in the pen. Thank you 📸 Krystina Lynn Photography for the photos!! Up next is the Alberta Reined Cow Horse Association show this weekend for our inaugural cowhorse show! Gonna tighten my chin strap for that one lol 😄

It’s been busy here at ML Arena but I have to take a moment to give a shoutout to these wonderful ladies we call the “Diamond Dolls” (think Golden Girls, but wiser)! They are truly inspirational and have given me a whole new perspective on grit, fortitude and passion. May we all ride as strong and brave into our 80’s and beyond 🤠!!!

Too much variety causes a horse to be unable to become consistent. Too much consistency causes a horse to be unable to deal with variety. Train with various consistency. If that doesn't work, try consistent variety.
