Effective June 1 2023- All outside client horses must be fully vaccinated against common core and risk based diseases for Alberta. Preferably Core EQ Innovator OR West Nile Innovator paired with Fluvac Innovator EHV 4/1. Pinnacle is optional. Proof of vaccination will be required upon drop off.

“Saffron” is a 2022 AQHA Brown f.illy. She is halter broke and leads at a walk and trot, picks up her feet, ties, loads, goes over trot poles, backs through an L, goes through pool noodles, has been flagged out, goes over bridges and tarps. She’s easy to catch, stands to be groomed with a blower. Her dam was very trainable and easy to start and I am sure Saffron will be no different. She is foundation bred on the top with Givemalickin and Blueboy Quincy on the bottom. She will have the build and agility for any job and will make a fantastic all arounder. Straight legged and built correct with a very cute head. Will be branded J over heart on the left hip before she leaves.

“Sesame” is a 2022 bay roan s.tud. He is halter broke, good with his feet, ties, loads, leads at a walk and jog, been over trot poles and through pool noodles. He has gone over tarps and bridges and backs through an L and has been flagged out. He is first to greet you in the pen and loves attention. Easy to catch and be around. He is foundation bred on top and out of a daughter of Solanos Peppy San with Zippo Pine Bars and Docs Zinfandel on the bottom. He is the perfect cross of foundation with some reining and cow lines.
His 3/4 sibling is lot 10 in the Art Of The Cowgirl sale in Arizona.
He will be branded J over heart on the left hip before selling.

“Brooks” is a 2019 bay g.elding. Currently sticked at 14.2HH. He had 90 days this summer with Iris Altermatt and is being rode weekly. Brooks loves work and loves to show off. He has an amazing reiner type foundation put on him and is ready to move on to any job. He has a solid walk, jog, lope, picks up his leads from a walk, simple lead changes, spins, side pass, two track, counter arcs, hip in, has a great stop and super light back up, he has all the buttons. “Chip” is a 2020 AQHA g.elding currently sticked at 15HH.
I put 30 days on him in August and he is now being rode weekly. Chip loves to be pampered and stands to be groomed, bathed, saddled, good for the farrier, ties, loads. Hes had tarps all over him, goes over tarps, over bridges, through pool noodles and cowboy curtains. He has been shown in front of a large crowd, not much bothers him. He has a solid walk, jog, lope. Here is an update on McBride! She has come so far in the last couple weeks and is incredibly willing. Show her once and she picks it right up! I am really looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the next 50 days. She will be available Sept 10 at Rocking Heart Ranch, you won’t want to miss out on this awesome mare.

Well I haven’t done an update on miss McBride in quite awhile so here she is! To say we are behind is an understatement but this mare said that was the pace she needed to get to this point so here we are. The 10 days we had to wait out the rain and drying out was also no help to our progress. She has taught me so much in the last couple weeks and I really had to mold my program to meet her in the middle and we have finally found that breakthrough moment. She was riding beautifully in Red Deer by the end of the expo but I guess that month off left her time to think and she had a different take on the whole riding idea once it came time. We had to take a big step back and get very creative in my groundwork to gain her confidence in being worked under saddle in a relaxed manner. While this clip might not look like a big deal, it was a huge breakthrough. To see her moving out with her head down, ears relaxed and loosening her tongue makes me so happy. I can’t wait to see what we can get done in the next 60 days. We are full steam ahead from here 🚂

Well we are 2 weeks in with miss McBride and shes coming right along. We had a few things to go back and work on but finally got a good ride in on Sunday➡️ swipe to see the state of our round pen on Monday 😂. Really excited to continue the progress on this mare but this week will be a write off after 3” of much needed rain so far and having only an outside facility. Hopefully our footing dries out quick so we can get back at it!
